I posted this elsewhere, but thought maybe this would be helpful here. It seems that when you go to buy something with Elixir, if you click on the 'X' to back out of the purchase it places the item in your inventory rather than canceling the purchase. This is NOT what happens with dollar and donut based purchases!! So be careful before you click on something because if you click on the wrong thing you're stuck with it.

Does anyone know how Wizard Marge unlocks? I reached 5000 coins to win her yesterday, but no one has started her quest. She didn't trigger it, and neither did Homer when he came off task this morning. Maybe the Barbarian?
Edit: Still waiting on another quest to unlock her, says some googling.
For those asking, there are walkthroughs on other sites, but they don't necessarily agree with one another. Bother.

Castle Level StatsCompiled from the information in Duder's post here. Note that the stats are for each castle, and a town has up to three. Note: It appears that there is a town base nerd capacity of 40 (or maybe 35; my town's not adding up). Level | Added capacity | Nerds per 2h
| Defense boost | Miscellaneous | 1 | 0 | 5 | 0 | | 2 | 0 | 10 | 0 | | 3 | 5 | 10 | 0 | | 4 | 5 | 10 | 0 | 4 walls | 5 | 5 | 10 | 1 | | 6 | 5 | 10 | 1 | 2 towers | 7 | 5 | 15 | 1 | | 8 | 5 | 15 | 1 | 4 walls | 9 | 15 | 15 | 1 | | 10 | 15 | 15 | 1 | 1 gate, deccos unlocked | 11 | 15 | 15 | 2 | | 12 | 15 | 20 | 2 | | 13 | 25 | 20 | 2 | | 14 | 25 | 20 | 3 | | 15 | 25 | 25 | 3 | | 16 | 35 | 25 | 3 | | 17 | 35 | 25 | 4 | | 18 | 35 | 30 | 4 | | 19 | 45 | 30 | 4 | | 20 | 45 | 30 | 5 |

Anyone know how to view the prize list once you build Bart & Lisa's castle? There is a castle on bottom right of screen press it...on bottom right there are three more buttons one is prizes. I don't seem to have the button you are referring to. I have built all 3 castles now and all I can do is view each one (upgrade the castle, upgrade the character, revenge, etc.). I can't find the prize list anywhere now.

There's a pic of the button to which TKE377 refers in the first post, under "Castle Summary." The button is on the bottom right of the screen next to the Milhouse/Bart friend button. Once you've pressed that (the Castle Summary popup will show), there will be three buttons at the bottom right of your screen. The middle looks like a gilded chalice. Tap to see the "Personal Prizes!" popup. Hope this helps!

How dare you?!? why I oughtta... I demand someone ban or at least severely reprimand this person immediately.

I'm up to the Prince and the Premise Pt. 14, and I still can't get Marge out of my Inventory. I'll update in about 2 hours as I'll be completing 14 & 15, then on to Pt. 16. I will see what happens and update after that. I also leveled Homer skin up to 10. You get a message saying he's maxed out (or something), but you can keep leveling him up past level 10, and your friends will be able to see his level after the event. As for the quest walkthrough, I've been using the one over at the forum that shan't be named (EA); it's been working, but I had a little hiccup around part 10-12. Now that my nerd production is up, I've been changing my visiting strategy. Now I'm attacking 5 buildings on each visit and I'm not picky if its a castle. I'm earning enough nerds that I'm trying to empty them quickly after collecting. Repeat process for next group of friends after next nerd collection. If nerd production gets too high, I may have to start visiting randoms just get rid of them, but that's a lot of Castle Level Ups away.

I was going to update the first post with my change of attack strategy now that I'm all fancy and a bit leveled up. I'm doing something similar to the strategy above, but still holding out for at least one castle. I'll likely give that up fairly soon (e.g., after the weekend).

Tip: when you visit another town, you are scrolled to the highest value item not wrecked. If you get scrolled to a castle that is under attack or wrecked, there is nothing to attack in the town. No need to look.

Castle Level StatsCompiled from the information in Duder's post here. Note that the stats are for each castle, and a town has up to three. From what I can tell, everything is cumulative except nerd production and castle-specific decorations. Level | Capacity | Nerds/2h | Defense | Misc | 1 | 40
| 5 | 0 | | 2 | 40 | 10 | 0 | | 3 | 45 | 10 | 0 | | 4 | 45 | 10 | 0 | 4 walls | 5 | 45 | 10 | 1 | | 6 | 45 | 10 | 1 | 2 towers | 7 | 45 | 15 | 1 | | 8 | 45 | 15 | 1 | 4 walls | 9 | 55 | 15 | 1 | | 10 | 55 | 15 | 1 | 1 gate, deccos unlocked | 11 | 55 | 15 | 2 | | 12 | 55 | 20 | 2 | | 13 | 65 | 20 | 2 | | 14 | 65 | 20 | 3 | | 15 | 65 | 25 | 2 | | 16 | 75 | 25 | 2 | | 17 | 75 | 25 | 4 | | 18 | 75 | 30 | 4 | | 19 | 85 | 30 | 4 | | 20 | 85 | 30 | 5 |

Link back to first post based on the second post every castle after level 20 earns a wall? So is there any real purpose to level a castle past 20? It would be cheaper to just straight out by a single wall than level up the castle...

Another tip: use all your nerds before you quit the game. The special today topped off your max capacity whether you had room for 1 nerd or 60.
And if your nerd count turns red, you are maxed. If you try to collect more, they get wasted.

THANK YOU. I thought it was just me and was like, I have a case open with EA for this, from other sites and EA support it looks like quite a few are impacted. Will update when i hear something. They say up to 48 hours. Can i speed them up with donuts? Im having the same problem. I can defend but its not registering in my task book.

Here's the Gold Chart to finish the day before the event ends. I'm struggling to make gold... So far, I have 4200ish (just above what is minimum for today).. However, I have friends how have 9k and 17k gold... How on earth is that possible? I train my nerds (35 atm) close to every 2 hours (8-9 times per day, as I also have to sleep), and attack immediately when I have nerds. I revenge when possible (only once, because when you switch to another player it clears all revenges), and attack randoms for max profit. I have tried to attack fast (many nerds) or spread my attacks thin (1-3 nerds per attack), but both gold and elixir is painfully slow.. ATM, neither Lisa or Bart have any quests, so they are even doing tasks for elixirs, to help a bit.. Any suggestions?

You get a lot of gold defending, but you have no control over whether your friends will attack you. However, be sure you have a fair number of active friends and check back to clear frequently. The other big chunk I see to get is from the "overnight" attacks. Granted, "overnight" means something different to the various timezones around the world, but I've found sending my last batch of nerds (or maybe a double batch) out right before sleep pays off quite well. Seem to get a lot of folks who don't defend and therefore you get more. This is especially true if you attach the randoms, as they both seem to be less developed/visited towns on average and the payout is more. I only started doing the randoms when my nerd production ramped enough that I already had visited all my friends but it has spiked my gold quite nicely the last two nights.

Haven't spent a donut and I have 9k gold. Granted, I've been on a lot since it started and I visit a lot of towns. I woke up to 5k elixir from my visits last night and almost fell out of my bed in surprise.

I've been super swamped at work and finally joys finished reading this thread. Thanks for the advice on visiting friends. I've been wondering why I don't recognize towns I visit. I'll start spreading my nerds out to friends towns now and use cheaters on the randoms. This event is a little strange with random town visits and the fact that you accumulate gold but when you upgrade you don't actually spend it. Just is an odd way of thinking.

I only have 20ish friends... Anyone, feel free to add me, name in signature ;-) I also set up a house farm for the duration of the event. It's not pretty, but it gives friends and randoms something to attack that they wouldn't have if they'd gone through all of my other buildings. I also use one nerd per building to maximize the rewards per nerd, and I do the max five attacks per friend per day. When I've gone through my friends, I attack randoms. To find more friends, check out this subforum.

Over 10k gold, no donuts spent. For the first few days I would only send 1 nerd to attack a random castle. If no castle, on to the next random city. Now I just drop 1 nerd or whatever I get dropped on, if I see more than 1 castle I drop 1 on all.
This isn't nearly as difficult as the whack a snake event in terms of requiring constant game play.
