Has anyone created a sf for more than 1 user on here? Like one that everyone could do there own bit on? Would it work? Would be cool.

Don't know if it's being done here, but seen a try out with another game and forum. It was successful till somebody destroyed it and everyone was upset about it. Only possible with people one knows. And how to be sure in the Internet? When passwords have to be shared etc.?
Once the trust issue was solved, it could be fun....

Yeah was thinking about that. There would obviously have to be a trust. I would hope that the people on here wouldn't do that if we got it together. I was thinking maybe have x amount of land per person, like the size of land to buy, and then maybe 1 building to do. What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

There is/was Forumfield, where each week users can submit their designs for a particular building, and the best one is chosen and designed into the town. Though it differs in that instead of the password given out, you are given a friend request to the town. So you can view it, but can't directly change anything. |

Stu I almost simulateously posted in the Forumfield section asking if the project was on hiatus or what! Well its not actually dead I think its still going, but when it first launched there were competitions almost every week, and then it slowly became less regular with a month or more between each competition. TBH they probably ran out of room in the town as a lot of the submissions were quite expansive and well designed. Either that or the people who used to run it just aren't around. I'm not here too often myself but I think Jopa and mdfriend were the main ones running it and I haven't seen their names for a while. |

I would be interested and as a matter of fact I have a second town that I use from time to time but not for designs so far. That town we could use and start from, problem would be there is less money and no donuts available yet and also very little land  anyway I would give up this town and we all could use it. And yes, should be all managed via pm so that no one could destroy things. Then the trust issue would be also under control. |

No was just saying we only did something like that with a small group privately there's never been a public thing here other then Forumfield, which is still still going it's part of the rotation of contests so we're in the middle of a SPOFA contest at the moment an Photo Challenge an OTM were before that so once the current one is over a new Forumfield should be coming soon |

I like this idea and it is more appealing to me than the other options because the concept is simple and I understand it without having to read myself through endless amount of rule and in the end not getting it anyway  So, moparman if you could mobilise and find a handful of people who want to participate then count me in. Anything else (Forumfield, SPOFA contest, whatever) I think it's too complicated for me and I'll pass on those. |

I like this idea. As distinct from Forumfield I imagine this would be like a patchwork quilt; where everyone (obviously limited by number of land tiles) contributes a square to the town that becomes like our own pixelated blanket. I'm in.

The person who plays will be getting Bart screen with the message that his account is used on another device and that the game couldn't be saved. I had that message when I played TSTO and at the same time used site tsto.me to upload my town's panorama on this site. |
