Can we have monthly forum poll, something along the lines of question of the month? STAFF EDIT:You can set up your own monthly polls in Game Discussion or The Couch area. If you are looking for something more "official", what are your ideas for questions? notsob23

I think somewhere should be posted what the Art Departement-Members, PnR, Mods, Admins do, and who and why there are forum historians/librarians, screenshot curators, birthday fairys or a sunshine commitee. BTW: I'm very angry with not have been asked to be part of the sunshine shit! (ok, this post clarifies why I can't be part of the sunshine f***...) STAFF EDIT: On the To-Do list

I know up front there are certainly server capacity and bandwidth aspects with this request....but with that said.... We have a image button with the only option to put in a link for the picture that must be posted on the internet already in order to include it in the post. But it would be AWESOME if there was an option to either link to a picture (like it is now)....AND....an additional option to upload a picture! This could certainly be limited to under a certain size (i.e. under 1 or 2 MB) but hopefully a decent range of picture file types, i.e. jpg / png / gif / bmp. This has several advantages: 1) Easier for those less savvy who may not know how to upload their pictures to the internet and find the direct link to those uploaded pictures on a 3rd party site. 2) If someone links to a picture, that picture is hosted by someone else beyond the forum servers so there is always the chance that the pictures are removed, the link changes, etc... so it will then no longer be visible in the posts. Only areas of possible challenges are on the backend beyond the obvious plugin integration, would be server and bandwidth capacity....but of course that is nothing that $$$$$$$$ can't solve! But incase those are part of our forum account, then it might be a good opportunity to take advantage of it for the members. STAFF EDIT: There is a built-in image upload feature, but the server space allowed by ProBoards is limited and that space is shared with our theme graphics, etc. So, that option is currently out. We tried out a plugin in the past that used a third-party image hosting site. There are a number of drawbacks: - The image shows in your post as a thumbnail and you must click it to see the full picture.
- The linked page that shows the full image is full of ads, most of which are sexually suggestive. (This is the main reason we pulled the option.)
- Members have no control over an image after posting. Post a drunk pic and regret it in the morning? Sorry!
I will investigate if there have been any other plugins built that may have solved some of these problems. HobbesIsReal

Could we have a Krusty Smiley? So like when we see something funny, we could use that in a reply, or include it with a Krusty The Clown nomination post. I am not sure if we are that max of smiley's in our list, if so I would nominate to remove the coffee cup to make room. Here are few ideas...... My favorite still one is: or Favorite animated (but without SideShow Bob): EDIT: Spiffshine, I totally get it with the image limit...thanks for putting under consideration. I really wasn't expecting...and didn't want it to tag a Krusty nomination. Just an added that is funny smiley.... STAFF EDIT: There is a limited number of spaces for emoticons, and we are at that limit. Some updates are currently in process, but no promises can be made at this time. Note that using a Krusty emote would not equal tagging Krusty the Clown for badge purposes.

Can we have an add-me section only members can view?
STAFF EDIT: One Add Me area is sufficient. This is the one area of the forum that we consciously decided to leave open to everyone - because "it's a social game for crying out loud".
If you have a very strict set of guidelines for adding friends, then you are going to have to put the work in yourself to make sure that they "qualify" - like going through the Add Me threads yourself to find people you'd like to be friends with, PMing people you know, or checking to see if invites you receive are actually from people you recognize.

Can we make a world map where all the forum members can pin where they live so we can get a visual of the diverse forum population? Maybe it sounds stupid but I think it would be neat! (Using the Marge voice in my mind.)

I have a forum-suggestion: Make it possible to select a member as your tapped out-neighbour. That way you could also make it possible to send a message to all your neighbours ("hey, I'm on holliday next week and won't be tapping. Please don't delete me ").

Is there a quicker way to do multi quote? If not could there be? I've been on boards before that have a multi quote check box on each post where you'd check the boxes you wanted to quote then when you hit reply at the bottom of the thread, it would list them like the example below. For Example: Shouldn't KBBL be unstickied from Channel 6? I have a forum-suggestion: Make it possible to select a member as your tapped out-neighbour. I posted this suggestion in the St. Patrick Update, page 2, but it might belong here:
"This comment probably doesn't belong here, but don't know where to mention it.
So here it is:
Could if be possible to add a four leaved shamrock to the "smiles" so that we can wish good luck to our fellow forum members?
The Luck of the Irish !! "

You can multi quote quickly if you use the drop down box on the top right of the post(s) you want to quote. Just choose 'select post' on any you wish to quote, then when you get to the last one, click 'quote' as usual. Then all selected posts should be quoted in the reply box. Hope that makes sense, let me know if I didn't explain it very well.

I know you are at an image limit but I love Homer in his little half-moon glasses when he's studying bills etc. I'd like to see a Homer Glasses emoticon. Can I get a cookie without chocolate please?

I want to make an updated guide for the Conform-o-Meter. Should I just do it or talk to Duder (who did the original one: tstappedout.com/post/34678/thread) or what? I don't want to go through the trouble if there is an updated one that i just didn't find or if someone else is already working on updating it.

May I suggest adding more Marge/Lisa/ female Springfield character smileys? edit: Or if we've reached the max load for smileys, we should take a vote which to keep and which to remove/replace!

I might be new here but it would be fun to have chat room here on the site I think we tried to do that in the past an the plug in just wasn't working right or causing the rst of the forum to not work right I'm not sure, but Spiffshine can clarify that for me when she gets back I for one would love to have one if we could make it work
