The recent threads button has become useless if you don't do the word games. Is there some way to remove them from the list? Maybe move the word games to a sub forum of the noise land arcade; and have that sub forum not included? (Original post cannot be found.) We've put some code in place now that should do just that. Please let us know if you experience any unexpected trouble with Recent Posts or Recent Threads. |

Could there a separate place for whodunnit? It's the only game with a badge in noiseland arcade. For it's every week new threads I can't bookmark, cause I still want to watch it live. I think we need a place in the sidebar to promote games like the Springfield Rumble, The Scavenger Hunt (if it continues), Whodunnit, etc. The reason I'm asking is because a lot of these group games are lost in Noiseland Arcade.
STAFF EDIT: Official and sanctioned P&R Games are now located in the Contests and Events board and will appear in Recent Posts and Recent Threads. The trouble with the sidebar for some games is their individual thread nature - an Admin would have to be present and able to update the sidebar each time a new games starts. We will be announcing new games in the future to call more attention to them. |

for world zombie day maybe you could have games like "if you were in zombie apocalypse which simpsons character would you be"? or "who would you eat first?" or team challenges "humans versus zombies" i dont know. am not good at thinking up games but maybe you guys are?

I really enjoyed the 24 hours event. Maybe there could be more. It would show commitment to the forum. Random events every now and then would be fun

Um... What Grinds My Gears right now is when I get an email saying someone has posted or quoted me it tells me their forum username and not what they've called or renamed themselves on the Forum so it takes me a while to think of who it was, so I know whether or not to read more at the very moment the email comes through ha.

I was wondering what we do for Halloween around here, in a RL way, as opposed to in-game artwork. Do we do a costume thread and contest for the best one? Two categories maybe, one Simpsons related and one Non-Simpsons. What do you think? I had another idea too....I've been looking around, and I don't see a thread for sharing any creative writing or Roleplaying other than the game threads...what if someone here likes to write Simpsons episodes from his/her own imagination? We could have a contest for a Christmas story, maybe, and then we all put in to "animate/storyboard" the winning "episode" .... Just some creative ideas I had pop up into my head. There are sooooooo many threads for a new person ,to look through, I hope I didn't duplicate anything. Thanks!

I have a suggestion, and I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way, but some members (including myself) are waiting for badges for tasks that were completed; I'm not that fussed but it's a little annoying..
I wanted to suggest that the members in charge of the competitions/boards that involve a badge, be allowed to work in teams so that if real life gets too hectic, then they can tag-out and leave it to their partner.
Just a thought...pleasedonthurtme...
STAFF EDIT: While we make no promises (because life has a way of messes with our best laid plans), we have put new systems in place for badge awarding that will hopefully make things more efficient and eliminate the confusion over redundancy. If all else fails, you can simply tag or PM a staff member if you feel your submission has been overlooked.

A very minor suggestion, and I won't be cranky if the answer is, "Nah, too much trouble," but it would be lovely if some of the emoticons that don't get used much could be replaced. For instance, I don't think I've seen anyone use these:   Personally, I'd like to see them replaced with a hug emoticon and a head-scratching emoticon, sort of like these:  
STAFF EDIT: There is a limited number of spaces for emoticons, and we are at that limit. Until we get a new smiley system in place, there will be very few edits. However, we will take your suggestions into consideration with regard to lesser-used emoticons. STAFF UPDATE: A new smiley plugin is being tested and several images replaced. Look for these to roll out before the end of the year. |

Is there a place on this forum that I can't seem to find if there is one, where we can post about the new Simpson's episodes, our thoughts, reviews etc.? Of course for most people it will need to be a sort of 'Spoiler' forum too since not everyone gets to see the newest episode like our american counterparts unless you know how

Is it possible to show the krusty tags for the badge somewhere?
STAFF EDIT: The problem is that most Krusty tags happen as a result of witty responses to general posts - very few "jokes" actually get tagged - so taking them out of context doesn't always work. But, you can just search for "Krusty the Clown" and get a list of every tag (and every random post referring to Krusty).  |

I'm not sure if this has been suggested but can we have a bugs/help sub section of the General Game Discussion? It might be me but I think having those bugs/help threads in one place instead of mingling together with the other threads in that section is a great idea... just something to think about.

Does this mean that Marge or someone else is back to hand out fresh hot cookie badges (mmmmmm, cookies....) now? I had some ideas a couple pages ago, but no one said anything. I've been searching the board as hard as I could--and I will admit that my search-fu is not as strong as it could be--but I was wondering if there have been RL / OOC threads where we can show of pictures of our awesome pets, or our Simpsons-addicted selves, or any cool tattoos we might have, or would like? We're all one big addicted family and I would love to get to know everyone better!!!!

You guys have probably thought of this already, except I think a "Springfield Museum" or something would be cool. You could browse different best-of categories or TSTO artists. Now that keys1980 has an art school, I think there are going to be some great examples to show people's talents. There are the showcase threads, but I mean something with just pictures.

I think that in our profile there should be a place to showoff our Springfields. With photos/screenshots and be able to showoff all the characters we have, or what level we are at etc. !
I think it would be helpfull then we could find forum members who are around the same spot in the game as us.

STAFF EDIT: Thank you for the great suggestion! We have considered a plugin that will allow the creation of member galleries (basically, a collection of threads that are only editable by the thread creator). This may come sometime in the future.

I have not seen it yet, but if possible, I would love to see a permanent thread that allowed forum members to write their own Bart-to-Moe Prank calls. This would be an ideal addition to parallel Moe's Tavern. Perhaps even earning a badge if the "prank script" got enough "Likes"

Is the origin-ID in Profile something you could only share with friends?
I'd like this Option for decisions on cleaning up my friends list without deleting forum friends.
STAFF EDIT: As a custom profile item, it either shows up or not - it is not linked to your privacy settings. If you are not sure if an Origin ID in your friend's list is a forum friend or not, you might be able to post and ask about it here, but no guarantees. You can also try using the member search in case that person uses the same username here. I hope this helps!
