Definitely dogs. Buster the Black Lab
As i am typing this I'm getting stalked by him. Yep, its dinner time. Haha Buster reminds me of a black lab/Rottweiler mix we had when I was growing up... His name was Thor.. Absolutely HUGE dog, floppy lab ears, big long curly lab tail that he'd beat you to death with when he was happy... And we always knew when he was thirsty and his water pan was empty... Dad would yell because Thor had dropped it on his lap ^_^ I miss that dog.. EDIT: Decided I couldn't describe Thor without a picture The 'weeky eye' as we referred to it was from a car hitting him... Don't gasp at that thought though! Thor ran out in the road, car braked, Thor's head bounced off the bumper as the car came to a full stop, Thor shook his head, and ran off... A lazy eye was his only damage, and it didn't affect him at all... He'd get loose, and we'd have to chase him a few miles before he'd tire out and let us catch him.. We had to get the heavy duty 1/2" chain, and the 1/2" thread closed 'C' clamps to hold him to the tree... Also had to have that heavy duty 2" collar you see there.. He was a beast, but the kindest dog EVER... We had to get rid of him eventually though..In combination with his loyalty, and protectiveness of the family (don't come walkin up in our yard yelling or you were a threat..), and a great nose(nipped a couple people that when they pressed charges for it were found to have cocaine on them) he spent 3 stints in county pound and Dog Control told us we had to get a 6' fence or we couldn't have him back... Unfortunately my parents couldn't afford the fence He went to a good home though... A police officer adopted him from what we were told, and he lived a good long life. Poor Snowball II. The Simpsons don't take good care of her, so she picks through the garbage bins outside the Bowlarama and the Springfield Grocery Store, looking for something to keep her going. This is my Miss Kitty. I rescued her from the woods outside a friend's house when she was 7 or so months old. She was malnourished and tiny because she'd just finished nursing a litter of kittens, even though she was just a kitten herself. My friend kept the kittens and I took Miss Kitty home with me. My other cat, who was old and hated all cats tried, several times in that first year or so, to eat her for lunch, but I made sure she was okay. The cat I adopted after my elderly cat passed away wanted desperately to be Miss Kitty's friend, but she would have none of that. She firmly established herself as the top cat who only barely tolerated his existence. He has now passed away too, and she rules the roost without question. She is still tiny because her growth was stunted by having been a teen mom, and getting her to eat is a constant challenge now that she has grown old, but no matter how old, or someday when she has passed, she will always be my baby. Is she Tabby Calico? Looks like she's got some orange in her black and grey Our Pip is Tabby Calico

Is she Tabby Calico? Looks like she's got some orange in her black and grey Our Pip is Tabby Calico I have always referred to her coloring as "Stray Cat Cammo" because it's perfectly suited to the local surroundings. She's mostly brown with some black and a touch of orange here and there. No true white, so no callie. Tabby on head and legs, more of a brindle on body. What's up with the bells? I'm guessing those are to give the birds & squirrels a fighting chance.

Cats, ofcourse :-) My own cat, Preben, in spite of the obvious male name, is a 2 yo female.. To date in 2014, she have rid the neighbourhood of 11 noisy chirping birds and 5 pesky mice.. That's the confirmed kills, she have brought home and eaten.. How many she have eaten outside, noone knows.. One night, where we had to get up, extra early, she brought home, not one, but TWO birds, only 2 hours apart... Curious.. When do I get my cat badge? I see people who have posted after me, who have gotten their cat/dog badge...

Why???? Birds are natural diet of cats.. Why should anyone have to justify their choices to you? Because IMO, bells are silly, and collars are a potential death trap for cats.. That's why you usually ear-tattoo and/or chip them instead..

Not if they're indoor cats Personally, our cats have always yowled until we took the collar off, so we just skip it... plus, it's hard to deny what ours look like ^_^

Hahaha We'll yes I used the German word "Hundeknochen" because I wasn't sure if there is a word like that in the English language. It means literally dog bone and I was tempted to write dog boner until I realised that the word boner is used for some other meaning (close to your phallus symbol example hahahaha) so I better used Hundeknochen (for everybody who doesn't understand Hundeknochen ... It is usually the bone that a dog is grabbing and Hiding when the dog doesn't get a lot of food, for storage and later possible emergency hunger times)

I prefer dogs. They seem less evil, somehow. Or maybe that's just what they want you to think...

Dogs, because they're like mini people, while cats are evil aliens from the planet Mars.

Wow...I haven't done one of these in quite a while... I truly love all the critters...ALL of them! Big or small, natural or robotic or even...zombie...they're the first "characters" I release into my towns during a redesign (Yay nuke!). In my real life I am the proud "roommate" to 2 cats, a bird, a lizard and my pooch. But for the purpose of this event...I definitely have to go with DOGS as the best-est pets ever! My dog, Mr. Clarence T. Butters ("Bean" to his friends), is absolutely my "go anywhere, up for everything" best friend. Cannot imagine my life without him... BEST DOG EVER!!!! +1

Team dog! I don't have any dogs at the moment, but my Mom's dog Duke is the happiest dog ever. He's getting really old, and can only make it a block before he's tuckered out. So mom has him traveling in style while she walks his puppy brother, Finnegan.

I've never had any pets (does my sister count?), but I've enjoyed the company of others' pets. While I could recount the many stories of cats digging their claws into my thighs or licking me in interesting places, I'd rather talk about dogs, hence my request for a dog badge. On my first ever trip to England as a skinny young 11 year old, I happened to meet a lovely dog named Flash at a sheep farm where my parents were paying a visit. I spent hours (or so it seemed to my 11 year old mind) playing with Flash. I kept throwing him a piece of wood (approved by the owner) and he kept catching it in his mouth, doing some very acrobatic leaps. Throw after throw, he never seemed to tire, and I didn't stop. Eventually, as with all great stories, things had to come to an end. While I have many other fond memories of dogs (and some sad ones to boot), this one sticks out as a great reminder of my summer in England. This is the best I could do as a reminder of my BFF's Italian Greyhound Terrier mix.

This is a screenshot I took for Wikisimpsons months ago because I cba to go into my town and take a new one... I have three cats, I saw them all the day they were born, from the mother who we used to own (she moved back in with her mother next door though...) I love my cats to bits and would hate it if anything happened to them... I personally own one of them whilst the other two are the family's.
