I used to have the most amazing 24 year old Siamese cat. He yelled so loud the neighbors thought I had a goat. I miss him, poor elderly geezer. I now have the most beautiful young female Siamese to keep me company. I had forgotten how active cats could be, lol. Siamese require a particular type of owner, as they are possessive and demanding. I guess "owner" isn't really the right word. EDIT: Miss Sugars demanded I post pics. And make an icon with her in it. And fill her bowl. And brush her. And stop playing on the computer.

I'm a dog person Here is my lovely Cracker hanging out with Santa's Little Helper in the park. He died two years ago and I still miss him loads every day. He had a cancerous tumour in his lip but he was a very old man and died aged 17. He is sporting a rosette that he won at a local dog show. I took him just for fun really. They had four categories and the one he was entered in was golden oldie I didn't realise but it turn out it was the heats for a national competition for mongrel dogs and he won! Ended up taking him to London for the finals but he didn't go any further. Still a great day out. He was such a gentle and friendly dog and a pleasure to come home to every day. to you my dear Cracker wherever you're watching over us from +1

cat getting an"escapee" ticket. I like both cats and dogs, but I prefer cats. Here a portrait of the real Beemer, that took over our household a few years back... Sorry to say but this cat is as ugly as a cat can be and still be a cat. When she hides her head the general effect is of a pile of bs. This doesn't stop her from running us with an iron claw, after all an Empress doesn't need beauty aids.....

Yes! Right up my alley. Tough I like them both, I am partial to dogs as you can see by my profile picture. My first dog was a starving stray that I found in 1990. People in my Brooklyn neighborhood used to call her "Santa's little Helper." My beautiful girl Honey ran like a greyhound. These pictures are all out of order, the first two are the potcakes. Now I have two rescues that are rescued from the beaches of the Bahamas islands, they're called "potcakes." I would love to have the SLH badge! Thanks for doing this summer pet project..

This doesn't stop her from running us with an iron claw, after all an Empress doesn't need beauty aids..... Sorry to call you out...but there are at least two really ugly kitties out there that are sincerely ugly, but amazingly beautiful. First, of course, is Quasimodo, The OfficialUgly Kitty . : myuglykitty.com/index.php/quasi/Then there is Lazarus, the ugly kitty who is missing par of his jaw: www.facebook.com/CareForLazarus And there is perhaps, the most special, the most precious and fortunately of ugly kitties is Chase. Otherwise known as Chase No Face, because, due to a terrible accident, she has no face. Here is the link to her story, given with the warning that if you are easily upset or disturbed, you may find Chase's early pictures confronting. www.catster.com/lifestyle/cat-rescue-adoption-faceless-chase-no-faceI could give you lots and lots of links to other special kitties, because kitties are what I do! I have three at the moment. My avatar is my 14 year old, Cinder. Pics of all my cats are in the kitty and the pet thread, I had a Siamese kitten when I was just a year old, ans I will ALWAYS be a ROCKING CAT LADY!! And remember: CAT HAIR IS GLITTER FOR LONELY PEOPLE, AND BY GOD, I. LOVE TO SPARKLE!!! (So cough up that Snowball II Badge! )

I'm with KJ78... I don't know what to do. I wish we could get a half SLH half Snowball II badge if we like both, like an image from that Treehouse of Horror Fly vs. Fly.

I prefer dogs. I believe they're actually robots sent back from the future to kill as many cats as possible to stop them from taking over the Internet. They're just disguised as cuties to ensure humans will feed them and give them a home. They've hit a few snags though. 1. The human has learnt their weakness. The ball. They throw it and the dog is instantly forced to run after it and retrieve it. Also works with sticks, or basically anything that is thrown. 2. Cats can run faster, jump higher and can climb goddamn trees. 3. Cats are evil masterminds and have figured out how to COME BACK FROM DEATH! (Featured in the picture, a zombie cat) Need proof? I managed to snap this rare picture of the robot taking a break from his meat suit (it can get cramped in there!) Need more proof? I've also captured a couple aliens that have clearly been sent back from the future to watch over the robots and make sure they're still on target. So yeah... Dogs are cool.

I have a dog and cats so this is a tricky one for me but I think I have to say… I wanted to find Snowball 2 but my game is crashing so much that I can only stop in it for a few minutes at a time and I can not find him in between the crashes. I was tempted to ask if I could have an elephant badge because Stampy is easy to find. Plus who could resist my little Smudge

Actually love both cats and dogs, but I prefer dogs. This is Ozzy. Unfortunately his sister Harriet died last year. We chose those names because Bassett's remind of us of old people. He has to be the most stubborn and laziest dog I've ever known. Also the sweetest and most lovable too.

Guess I'm gonna choose dogs as I love both. Cats are easier to take care of but dogs have more personality. Also, who can resist this face?! Corby. A Scottish terrier with an Irish name. 12 years old, almost, and still very active and full of hell.

KJ78 I for one cannot resist that face. I love scotties. They're the best. We have always had one growing up and one and currently this boy lives at my parents since I can't have pets where I live. When it is time to move, not only is per friendly on the list, but a Scottie and Westie. Always wanted to have both.

While I'm both a dog and cat person, I prefer cats over dogs just a bit more. If you have ever tapped on both zombie animals it seems like the dog just stops or gets squished while the cat tries it's hardest to "wag" it's tail and looks quite excited to have you tap it. I have 2 cute felines currently. While their names may change constantly their faces remain the same This is Oreo (known only by this name at the vets office) we call him Kitty or brudder (sounds like brother but with a d instead of a th sound) he is going to be 11 in September. He loves to lay on your shoulder This is Ali (long story on the name. Supposed to be a girl, wasn't, has a girls name at the vets) we call him Fatty, you'll see why down below, he is 5 and he absolutely loves when I play on my ipad, the Simpsons gets him because he watches the people run around. This is both, a side by side comparison at this time Fatty was 2 and Brudder was 8

When your cat starts to resemble your favorite Star Wars character (bring me the wookie!)... Well how can you not love cats a little? In my Springfield, they just like giving hugs. Hugs are the best.

Well, considering my screen name, I think it is pretty obvious which badge I would prefer to grace my profile! Cats are where it's at!! I have been catless for a few years now, due to a number of factors including a daughter who became allergic, but I can get a feline fix at my mother's house, as she has 3 (plus one hider). When I was a young girl, my family moved from Wisconsin to Maryland. My parents decided to make the drive with my sister and I and a mama cat with 3 kittens and a Saint Bernard in the station wagon. Fortunately everyone got along, and the chaos was kept to a minimum. At least that's the way I choose to remember it! In my picture, Snowball II is trying to figure out how Blinky will become lunch!

During The Event That Cannot be Named (TETCBN), a wondrous thing happened: Crazy Cat Lady was released! I had to have her. She is my idol, after all. One day I, too, will be surrounded by cats, mumbling and sputtering as I wander about town. However, I refused to spend any money on TETCBN, crap that it was, in fear that my contribution would be seen by EA as encouragement for a repeat performance. I tapped and tapped, gathering donuts anywhere I could find them. Finally, a day or two before the event ended, I had reached 180! Crazy Cat Lady was mine! I present, the only good thing to come out of TETCBN: (cat badge please)
