Bart the Daredevil Airdate: December 6, 1990 Episode #7F06 1st appearances: Springfield Speedway, Truckasaurus, Captain Lance Murdock, Springfield Hospital, Dr. Hibbert, Springfield Gorge, Ambulance Hospital: Angle with entrance facing down, street running in front. Place 2 cement squares next to emergency for Ambulance. The Speedway might be cool, but dunno if it is really in the plans. Truckasaurus might be a rights clearance issue too. Murdock could be cool with quests tied in with the hospital, maybe the speedway. Well, that covers everything. Next time... whu? Oh. Oh yeah. How much do we all want the Gorge? Let us count the ways. It would be cool visually, it could give Bart a new skin and tasks, maybe give Homer a task as well. Oh yeah, this would be an awesome addition to the game, one we really crave. The downside? How in the world will we find room for it? Next time, a small twist. We'll be bad like Michael Jackson.

Do the Bartman Airdate: December 6, 1990 Episode #7F75
1st appearances: Backup Dancers, Manhole
OK, even I'll admit this reeks of desperation, but you never know where inspiration will strike. Aside from the belief that Moe's is across the street from SNPP (it's not), this is just... fun.
Nothing at all wrong with that, right?
Back to serious work then.

"Lemonade?" Itchy & Scratchy & Marge Airdate: December 20, 1990 Episode #7F09 1st appearances: Van Houten House, Itchy & Scratchy International, Roger Myers, Marge Protest... Something job, Sideshow Mel, Corporal Punishment, Apple Tree, Tree Swing Van Houten House: Place behind the Simpsons House with the entrance facing down. Place a brown wooden fence line two squares away from the left wall of the house facing right (the green square coverage of the fence should face left, that is). Leave a yard several squares deep behind the house and stop the fence inline with the wooden fence on the right side. Finally, place a tree next to the left side fence roughly in line with the side of the house. Apple Tree and Tree Swing: If you have the donuts and want to .50% boost, these can go most reasonably in an existing park setting you may have. It's very free form since the trees are only seen in the pan over the pastoral scenes following the neutering of Itchy and Scratchy. But I would recommend only one each to save donut costs. It will only equal a 1% boost to jobs, but it does help Tree Hugging and nice decor if you have the donuts. Personally, I'd love to see Itchy and Scratchy International added to the game to add on to the entertainment section of town. Myers may be tough to task, but he'd be great to tie in with the building. I know there is a drive to try and get Itchy and Scratchy in game as well, just dunno how likely it is outside of Krustyland. Be fun if you clicked on them if they became the lobotomized versions with the oversized pupils too. Corporal Punishment is really background stuff and the likelihood of seeing him in game is negligible I think. Next time, Bart Gets Hit by a Car. Might be a character in there people want, I am not sure.

Bart Gets Hit By a Car Airdate: January 10, 1991 Episode #7F10
1st appearances: The Devil, Lionel Hutz, Blue-Haired Lawyer, Law Offices of Lionel Hutz, Gum For Less, Dr. Nick Rivera General Practice (Mall shops), Dr. Nick, Judge Moulton
Well, the law offices and the judge's name may change but we got a lot of stuff here people would love to have in the game, especially the judge, the blue-haired lawyer and Hutz. None of which have been added yet and Hutz is extremely iffy given the character has been retired since the murder of voice actor Phil Hartman. If we ever get the courthouse, two out of three might not be bad and probably the best we could hope for. But lo, the sounds of rejoicing would be great in these parts if we could get Hutz.
Think that will do it for tonight. More tomorrow.

Gonna keep in short today, going to be busy this afternoon and tomorrow. With luck, get a few more episodes up.
One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish Airdate: January 24, 1991 Episode #7F11
1st appearances: The Happy Sumo, Akira, Toshiro, Master Chef, Richie Sakai
Unfortunately, nothing for the episode is in game. Will we get anything? Maybe. Depends on if Swanky Fish replaces Happy Sumo or not. What would be cool is if Akira came with the Sumo since he works there, at Swanky Fish and teaches karate at the Mall. If you have all three buildings, would make for a lot of jobs for him. Best, he could be a voiced character since Akira's voice was taken over by Hank Azaria for later appearances.
Like I said, maybe.
Next, The Way We Was.

Sorry about the lay off but between stuff I wanted to do on Monday night and Tuesday, I have fallen behind. Well, I figure folks who are not able to work on Krustyland would like some things to think about and I got time and an injured shoulder keeping me from doing much (relax, just a sore muscle, I'm fine), so what say we knock out some episodes, shall we?
The Way We Was Airdate: January 31, 1991 Episode #7F12
1st appearances: McBain, Springfield High School, Mr. Dondalinger, Artie Ziff, Mr. Bouvier
Well, of you got the donuts, McBain is in game and quite fun. The rest? I'd love to see the high school added in and retro skins for Marge, Homer and Barney. Maybe Frink makes a time machine or something, I dunno. Artie is also a character either now or then that I think people would like having in game. But, up to EA. Just have to wait and see.
Next time, Homer vs. Lisa.

Homer vs. Lisa & the 8th Commandment Airdate: February 7, 1991 Episode #7F13 1st appearances: Troy MaClure, Springfield Grocery Store, Drederick Tatum Incidentally, this was also the first appearance of Dr. Nick's Promote a Shoddy Product task and Drederick Tatum's Stay in Shape task. I missed Homer's Hammock making it's first appearance in Bart the Daredevil, but we have a good placement for it here. Place the hammock oriented along the left fence of the Simpson house with the downward tree next to the left rear corner of the house. The picture should give you a better idea of what I mean. Oh, and I think I forgot to show an idea of what the layout of the Church looks like, so here is that as well. This picture is a bit more current and still in a phase of being finished, but should give you some ideas. Personally, of anything missing from the episode, I'd really love the Grocery Store. Good for the Commerce statistic and possibly a chance to introduce Helen Lovejoy to the game. As for Troy MaClure, yeah, we'd all love the guy, but I honestly do not know if we will get him because of the circumstances of Hartman's death and that he won't be voiced anyway. Next time, Principal Charming and a chance to embiggen Springfield Elementary.

Principal Charming Airdate: February 14, 1991 Episode #7F15
1st appearances: Springfield DMV, Hans Moleman, Willie, PattY and Selma's Apartment (interior only), Springfield Revolving Restaurant, The Family Jewels (Mall shop)
Well, clearly there is nothing in this episode even worth talking about. I mean, what could possibly be in here than anyone would want in game?
It's not working, is it? Oh well, had to try.
Between the DMV, the Apartment and PattY and Selma, EA could make MANY fans happy with just that release as a level. Will it happen? Feels inevitable, just a question of when. The Mall is, as we know, coming someday, so that could count as another check. Personally, I'd love to see the Revolving Restaurant added in, especially given the model is technically already in game with the Food Needle, just needs some minor modification.
Other than all that, very little to add or modify in game with this episode. Just a wish list.
I am going to grab a few hours sleep, we'll be back tomorrow with more, including the car we all want in game.

Inspired by other guides, here is my, admittedly ambitious, attempt at it. Step by step, episode by episode, from the the first season to the most current, I will give some suggestions to fit the layout of the buildings and decors around them so the town you design may look somewhat similar to the show. Holy cow, man! That is the most ambitious idea I've ever seen on this forum -- and we have some pretty ambitious posts here. You do realise this show has 24 seasons, right?! Huge kudos for the effort on this one.If I could make a small suggestion (not to add to your workload with it), but aside from screenshots (which will make this thread a huge draw, I think), I would suggest some formatting of the posts. For example, make the episode title a larger font size and maybe underlined. (It would also be cool to have the Season and Episode number next to it for reference.) Then also make the words "1st Appearance" bold. I found that to be fascinating and would scroll down the page to see who was introduced when. Then if you get super ambitious later, it would be great to see a screenshot from the show so we know what you're describing. I think this is an amazing idea and I'm just afraid it's getting lost by having a lot of text and no visuals to go with it. But my hat goes off to you, sir. +1

Honestly, I was thinking of going back and editing the posts to add episode numbers and air dates. Your suggestions to bold and underline certain parts is a good tip as well. Anything to keep it from turning in to Wall of Text style posts. As for episode screenshots, I unfortunately do not have a capture card, so I cannot do that. That MAY change someday, but for now, I have to make do. Anyway, yes, I am aware that the show is heading into its 25th season and I have 15 on DVD and blu-ray, plus I would like to do some current stuff once the season launches, especially with the tie ins. I actually do not mind such a big challenge, since, the way I see it, if people are out there trying to earn money and dounuts to build their Springfields, the least I can do is suggest templates for getting it to fit the show, difficult as that can be at times. Is it tough? Yes. Exhausting? Beyond doubt. (It takes an hour to watch an episode, write down the notes, formulate it all in my head, make sure the game matches, take the screen shots, type everything up and post it. Rinse and repeat five times a disc minimum.) But ya know something? Every time I get responses like this or see the number of views for the thread tick upwards, it makes it all worth it to me. Speaking of which, I gotta get back to work on this. Updates incoming in about an hour or so, knock on wood.

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Airdate: February 21, 1991 Episode #7F16
1st appearances: Powell Estate, Powell Motors, Herb Powell, The Homer
Also the first appearance of McBain's Kill Commie Nazis task. I think.
Realistically, I am not certain we will see the majority of stuff from this episode. Herb is a maybe, but he won't be voiced. The rest, being one off stuff, is unlikely. That being said, so there is no doubt, EA, I want the Homer. I want it to sit on the roads. I want it to play "La Cucaracha" when I tap on it. And hey, maybe $82,000 in in game cash would be bearable.
Next up, Bart's Dog Gets An F.

Bart's Dog Gets An F Airdate: March 7, 1991 Episode #7F14 1st appearances: Park Bench ($595), Around the World News, Noah's, My Fashion Pumps (Mall shops), Emily Winthrop's Canine College, Emily Winthrop, Cookie Colossus (Mall shop). The episode also has Flander's Power Walk task featured. Flanders - Power Walk: If you are doing a free form park and really want to recreate a background shot from the episode, place a $595 park bench in front of two Pine Trees ($135 each). Unfortunately, Jasper cannot sit on the bench as he does not have the task, but it's a small set piece for under a thousand in game cash. You know, as I work through the episodes, I am not starting to wonder if maybe EA would consider having the Mall building be a second (or third, counting Krustyland) map portal and give us some of these shops to build inside. Really unlikely, just thinking out loud. Next time, Bart's in deep, deep trouble.

Deep Deep Trouble Airdate: March 7, 1991 Episode #7F76
No new appearances here, but if you accept the music video as canon, Jake's Unisex should go next to or at least close to Moe's. This will obviously change over time, but if you are free forming, not a bad suggestion for near downtown.
Next time, dignity is on me.

Old Money Airdate: March 28, 1991 Episode #7F17
1st appearances: Bea Simmons, Palm Tree, Grandma's World, Discount Lion Safari, Club Mud, Diz-Nee-Land, Frink, Plato's Republic Casino, Plato, Krusty Burger, new Springfield Retirement Castle model. The episode also features Grandpa's Feed the Birds task.
For anyone who has unlocked them in the latest update, place the palm trees along any of the beach not covered by the Squidport. I suggest placing them two by two, then a space of four squares, then two more trees and so on until you ready the end of the beach. As soon as I unlock my palms, I'll show you what I mean.
Retirement Castle: I suggest moving the Castle either in line with or close to Herman's. It appears Grandpa walks there, so something to consider.
We only got a quick look at the order box for Krusty Burger, so a better model will follow.
Personally, I'd love Discount Lion Safari just for giggles and a bit of a Commerce bump. Everything else, even Bea, is unlikely I would think.
Next up, what we have all be waiting for... full frontal nudity!

Brush With Greatness Airdate: April 11, 1991 Episode #7F18
1st appearances: Mt. Splashmore, Springfield Community College Extension Center (interior only), Professor Lombardo, Ringo Starr, Springfield Palace of Fine Arts. The episode also includes a reference to the Boatful of Donuts.
We will have to take a better look at the Extension Center in the future when we get a look at the outside, but the first appearance is here. Love to see the Palace of Fine Arts added in to flesh out downtown Springfield. Lombardo and Ringo are unlikely only because it's a one-off for Lombardo and I dunno if there is image rights issues with Ringo or not.
Y'know, we just got Krustyland in game and it's really too soon to ask for much, but still...
EA, can we have Mt. Splashmore? EA, can we have Mt. Splashmore? EA, can we have Mt. Splashmore? EA, can we have Mt. Splashmore? EA, can we have Mt. Splashmore?
Next time, a Simpsons classic.

Lisa's Substitute Airdate: April 25, 1991 Episode #7F19
1st appearances: Mrs. Hoover, Mr. Bergstrom, Janey, Ralph, Chuck, Springfield Museum of Natural History, Happy Gypsy Apartments, Bench (Backless model), Springfield Train Station
Springfield Elementary: Add a set of monkey bars along the left fence above ones placed previously.
Technically, this is not Ralph and Janey's first appearance, but this is the first time they graduated for background to named characters. And we know in advance how big Ralph will become in time. Oh, speaking of background characters, way back in Moaning Lisa, I mentioned a character named Howie at Noiseland. I thought at the time he was a one off character and we'd not see him again. I was wrong as he has shown up in the background or filling a seat in classrooms quite a bit and going forward. Realistically, will we ever see Janey, Chuck or Howie in game? Eh, probably not, but you never know.
As for the teachers, Mrs. Hoover I would think will get added eventually, even if she has no voice. Mr. Bergstrom would be awesome just for the episode reference, but you never know. Of course, we have more buildings to add to Springfield if they want to. If any do come in, maybe the train station as the most likely. Selfishly, like wanting more model bushes, trees and lampposts, I'd love the backless bench added in game since it is all we see at the Elementary School.
Next time, Homer versus The General.

The War of the Simpsons Airdate: May 2, 1991 Episode #7F20 1st appearances: Bait Shop, Catfish Lake Lodge, Gloria, John, Snake, General Sherman, Orange House. This episode also featured Grandpa's Babysit Bart and Lisa task. Orange House: Place across the street from the Simpsons house facing down. Run a street in front and, for now, decorate to taste. I actually would quite like to see Catfish Lake Lodge and the Bait Shop added to the game. Slowly EA is adding more woodsy themed items, so why not add those? Gloria and John were included only for a Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolfe? joke, so very unlikely we will ever see them again. If they add the Lodge, maybe Homer can get a Catch General Sherman task. Next time, Three Men and a Comic Book.

Three Men and a Comic Book Airdate: May 9, 1991 Episode #7F21
1st Appearances: Springfield Convention Center, Bartman, Radioactive Man, Comic Book Guy, Glick House, Mrs. Glick, Andriod Dungeon. This episode also features the Sleep Over task for Bart and Milhouse. Guess EA forgot about Martin included in the group.
Android Dungeon: In this episode, it appears across the street from a Barber, so for now, place a street behind Jake's Unisex and place the Android Dungeon there with the entrance facing the back of Jake's. Obviously we will be arranging things later, but this will do for now.
I sincerely hope we get Bartman and Radioactive Man skins in the future. Bart just got his first premium costume, maybe for Halloween. I know people are not exactly in love with Wolfcastle getting a Radioactive Man skin, but I do not see why not. As for the rest, Convention Center is not high on the list of priorities and I do not think many people even recall Mrs. Glick or her house. It's a shame because it's actually a nice unique design.
Next time, we close out the season with a personal favorite of mine.

Blood Feud Air Date: July 11, 1991 Episode #7F22 1st Appearances: Emergency Warning Sign, Bloodmobile, Mailbox, Springfield Hardware, Springfield Title Co-Op, Springfield Post Office, Joey, The Brushes Are Coming, The Brushes Are Coming, The Tam O'Shanter Connection, Sweet Home Alabama, Wicked Excess, Plunderer Pete's (Mall shops), Xtapalaquetel Head Springfield Post Office: We only saw a quick look outside the Post Office, so placement is unknown for certain right now. Downtown near City Hall should suffice for now. Unless they figure out a way to put decors on the sidewalk, not interested in the mailbox honestly. I'd enjoy seeing little one offs like the Warning Sign and the Bloodmobile added as well. But, let's face it: for all true fans of the show, our collection is incomplete without the big ugly head of Xtapalaquetel, am I right? Hopefully coming soon. This finishes Season 2. I may try and do an organization post in a bit to clear things up better if needed. also going to finish reformatting posts for Season 2, adding dates and episode numbers as recommended. Otherwise, I'm done for tonight. Next time, Homer goes to an insane asylum and meets Poptimus Prime. See you all tomorrow.

Howdy folks! Just finished up some house keeping on the thread and would appreciate some feedback on the new look. Anything to make anything clearer or more distinct is welcome. I'm experimenting with colors, but sincerely hope no one is colorblind or I'm in trouble. So, how should our Springfields look after season 2? Well, chances are "chaotic" is a charitable term. Things will get better organized in time, but for now, we should have two large sections over the river - SNPP and Burns Manor. Heading right across the map, Downtown is probably a fright given we do not yet have locked locations for Town Hall or Town Square, plus buildings like Moe's, Jake's Unisex, Android Dungeon and so on are all scattered. Then again, if you are just starting the game and unlocking buildings and buying land as you can, it really should not look too different. I believe the Church is near Downtown currently as well, having not been moved since The Telltale Head. Anyway, continuing right, after the scatter buildings of downtown should be Springfield Elementary which, depending on funds, is either huge or has the potential to be. After that is the beginnings of Evergreen Terrace. At least the three buildings around the Simpsons should be somewhat ordered with the Retirement Castle to the right for now. So, with that encapsulation done, I think we're ready to get back to work, wouldn't you say? Stand by, more to come.

And here we go again with one of my all time favorite episodes.
Season 3
Stark Raving Dad Airdate: September 19, 1991 Episode #7F24
1st Appearances: New Bedlam Asylum, Leon "Michael Jackson" Kompowski, Floyd, The Chief, Dave, Smog Center
Hey, Looney Tunes! This is Michael Jackson! You are just some big fat white guy!
You'd be amazed how often I hear that.
With Carolwood out now, I do not know how likely it is we will see New Bedlam. I'd like to, but I just don't know. Given the majority of characters were One Flew Over the Cuckoos' Nest jokes, don't think they are too likely either.
So, that leaves us with the elephant in the room. In the interests of full disclosure, I am a huge Michael Jackson fan. Was then, still am, always will be. So getting Leon in the game, even of he is silent, would be a nice treat. I suspect EA is aware of it, given Michael was a somewhat popular guest star. We just have to cross our fingers.
Next time, Capitol Cesspool.

Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington Airdate: Spetember 26, 1991 Episode #8F01
1st Appearances: (deep breath) Home Security Trust, Springfield National Forest, Veterans of Popular Wars, Dulles International Airport, Limo, Internal Revenue Service, Watergate Hotel, Faith Crowley, Trong Van Dihn, Maria Dominquez, White House, Barbara Bush, U.S. Mint (interior), National Air and Space Museum, Washington Monument, United States Capitol, Jerry the Lobbyist, Congressman Bob Arnold, Winifred Beecher Howe Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Alonzo Flowers, Wilson DeFarge, Brad Fletcher, Rowena, Chilton Gaines, Senator Ted Kennedy, President George. H Bush.
If you'll excuse me, I'll be over here gulping oxygen.
Springfield National Forest: Nothing really distinct here. Just set up as many pine trees as your budge can afford and that will probably be it. I recommend placement about SNPP for now.
Aside from the Limo, nothing else from the episode is in the game and it's REALLY unlikely that the majority of Washington, D.C. is going to be put in by EA. Then again, we got Abraham Lincoln for the 4th of July and his Cabin (I live in Kentucky, I can vouch that EA's model is close to the Memorial Cabin, the chimney is on the wrong side is all), so you never know.
Next up, the Left Handed Roadster and Flanders's House get a make over.

When Flanders Failed Airdate: October 3, 1991 Episode #7F23 1st appearances: Picnic Table, Lawn Chair, Planted Shrub, Bar-B-Q, Springfield Martial Arts Academy, Leftorium, Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame, I Can't Believe It's Flannel, Vendetta's, Tongs R Us, The Ladder Barn (Mall shops), Chuck Ellis, Flanders Car, Perky Hut (Mall shop), Left Handed Roadster Flanders Home: Remove brown fence from the back of the Flanders property and replace with 2 square hedges. Place a tree 2 squares to the left from the fence between the Flanders and Simpsons, just below the hedge fence. Place a second tree two squares away from the wood fence between Flanders and the next property to the left. Place 2 square hedges along the left side of the left fence and a tree 1 square away from the hedges. Refer to the picture if you need further visual help. Dear Lord, do we need the Springfield Mall or what? I COULD make things easier on myself by just leaving all the names out, but why would I want to do that? In any case, as you can see, here is where the debate on the Roadster begins - Ned is selling it, therefore it should be at the Mall, if ever put in the game. On the other hand, Burns bought it, so it should be at Burns Manor. For now, mine is at the Manor, but it will be moved to the Mall... someday. Next time, Bart turns to a life of crime and we get another building and house to place.

Bart the Murderer Airdate: October 10, 1991 Episode #8F03 1st Appearances: Ah Fudge! Chocolate Factory, Cocoa Beanie, Cleaners, Joe's Thrift Shop, Locksmith, Jumbo's Discount Barn, Legitimate Businessman's Social Club, Louie, Legs, Fat Tony, Jack Larson, Pizza Delivery Truck, Flowers By Irene Truck, Psychic, Lewis, Skinner House. This episode also features Fat Tony's Take a Legitimate Meeting and Meet With Old Acquaintances tasks. Elementary School: The episode suggests placing the school closer to downtown so Bart can travel through downtown on his way home. Given flexible reality, I leave that to you, the town builders. Legitimate Businessman's Club: Place with the staircase facing down toward the street. For now, it can be placed anywhere between the Simpsons House and Elementary School. Skinner House: Place house on the street above the Simpsons with the entrance facing down, the street running left to right in front of the house. The street should be in line with the Elementary School. place a $595 Tree next to the left front corner of the house. Place a fence line, Brown or White and running left to right, about four squares back from the back wall of the house. Man, as much as we get from this episode, I'm crushed we have not gotten the Flowers By Irene Truck yet! Seriously, aside from the chocolate factory and a few nondescript shops, we got a healthy chunk from this episode in game already, so not too shabby. Also helps build up both our downtown and our Evergreen Terrace. Next time, we'll pull a Homer.
