Let's Have a Parade

There's nothing we like better around here than a good party. So why not take it one step further and organize a public event? Get a group of friends together (or strangers or neighbors - oh what the hey we're all friends) and stage a parade. The themes are only limited to your imagination, and since we are an international community we will hopefully have a lot of events to celebrate. Once we have a few entries we can get some of our helpful forum folk to stitch the scene together Photoshop style.

Since we seem to be such a proud and supportive community we thought it appropriate to celebrate June with a Springfield Pride Parade. Deck your Springfieldians out in their finest garb and party down.  Special thanks to Chubby Lantern for coming up with the original idea.

This is just an ongoing thread, not a contest (So this can be read as you will not get a badge). Feel free to start a new parade idea at any time, there can be concurrent parades happening around town. And just like every train needs a caboose, you can always join in even if a parade is in full swing. New entries can always be added.

For continuity we ask that all parade participants use the same space and angle in their town and find a guiding landmark (like a road or the edge of town) so we all make the Photoshop angel's lives easier. Please set your screenshot to FULL PAN so that all scenes will line up.

Thank you Fraggle for getting this off the ground! I can not wait to submit my pride float, some time down the line I will have to find a good one to make a Little Miss Springfield Float for Lisa she can use the Laramie vending machine like the giant pack she sat on originally.

Like most Pride Parades my entry will be themed to my local bear club/bear bar

That's epic and since a lot of trains are probably going to be used, and pride festivals like proms often have lame pun ridden themes, why don't we give this some sort of delightfully horrible theme/name?
