How to post a photo from an iDevice, using the photobucket app: (other photo apps work similarly, see thread on imgur) Step 1 - Take a screen shot. To do this press the device hold button and power button at the same time. Step 2 - Before uploading it may be a good to set your sizing. Begin by clicking settings. Find Upload and click that. Step 3 - Find image size and click that. Step 4 - For forum purposes 640 x 640 max pixels is a good size. Select that. Step 5 - go back to My Albums and click on the picture you want to upload. Step 6 - Click the i button in the lower right corner. Step 7 - Click the text in the IMG window, this will copy it to your clipboard. Step 8 - paste BBC code into your post. That's it you're done. Respect to H1, for showing me the way.

Great post. I use postimage.org. It works directly from the browser, so no app needed. You just select the size when uploading and pick the image from directly from your photos. It gives you the links to the images, thumbnails, etc that you just copy/paste.

Oh good so the option to scale is still there. Someone in the other thread said they couldn't find it.
1024x1024 still kind of works, wouldn't go larger than that. Even 320x320 didn't come out too bad (for less detailed images)

In Postimage, which link do you copy? There are several choices, "Link," "Directlink," etc.

I've noticed that you don't actually have to go through the process of resizing your images, it seems to me that the forum takes care of this anyway. So far I've been uploading images using the photobucket app on my iPad (no resize available) and then logged on photobucket.com for resize and any final editing. I tried posting full-sized images and they show up fine, at least in the web browser please correct me if I'm wrong.

But if you go to smaller sizes (I poster in another thread about this with a 320x320 image), they will eventually become smaller. Not sure if anyone needs that (except it's useful for pictures in signatures)

The only thing is that I have tried posting a few pictures and they are very small!? And I did upload them in various sizes to Postimage.. Would you know the reason for this?
