Maybe in the next Whacking Day event, the wheel spins fast and you have to whack the wheel. Where you whack is the prize you get. Only problem is the wheel spins so fast you have no idea where you are whacking.  |

All the eggs scattered around my town...I got carpel tunnel from tapping them all.
Please tell me that this won't be a thing again. I don't want to have to go back to the doctor with another "tapped-out" related injury.

Hey, me too! I put this up a few days ago just to get in the mood.  It'd be fun if they did something for Easter, something new, but they completely ignored it last year so I imagine we will just get WD in a few weeks. |

I'm actually kind of excited for Whacking Day (don't hurt me). Not the eggs, which I quickly grew to loathe, but the snake-whacking and Homer twirling his baton.
Plus, yep, need a new Wheel of Doom to complain about.

I could deal with a new wheel IF (notice that's a big if), if it had the items that I missed out on last year because I hadn't found the forums yet and only had 5 friends who played somewhat regularly. IF it doesn't; then, they can tuck the wheel some place that a lady should never mention.

I accidentally sold my one and only happy whacking day sign today and am super bummed about it. If they have whacking day I sure hope they make this available again.

I guess we are going to get a whacking day, because EA seem to be showing no imagination and just rolling out the same old events with minor changes. If its anything like last years WD though, I would think it'll be the end of me playing. It sucked big time. Was way too much effort. Although as the more recent events have certainly been easier, there is hope it might be less of a slog. I would like some sort of interaction with neighbors though. Liked the eggs last year despite the time it took to place them, it was good to be able to spell things out with them, hide them or whatever. Although if they bring them back I'd prefer they only took up 1 square instead of 4.

I doubt they would pull the same style Whacking Day as last year. Even EA knows what they shouldn't do again. So many people complained about it last year, that the eggs were annoying and took up land space, that you had to whack so many snakes to complete the event... They wouldn't make it as bad as last year again. They would alter it to make it easier, probably put in another Wheel of Doom or another minigame to win items, maybe something including whacking, Whack-A-Snake anyone? Different colour snakes correspond to different prizes. Snakes appear in random holes and keep changing holes. Makes it so you can select your prize but have to be quick to get it. I wouldn't mind something like that, not totally random.
I'm just hoping we don't have to dump eggs over land meaning you have to release the snakes to move and place items. Maybe make it similar to presents with an auto-release thing similar to the elves.
