I'm right there with you. What I want is Whacking Day, the exact same as it was last year. With any premium content that I bought last year now available for free on a spinning wheel. I don't want any new content for long time players except perhaps a decoration that you have a 0.01% chance of getting on said wheel. I really hope that they don't try and give us more land and there is a sarcastic reference to this in the text bubbles of one of the characters. Fuck land, love EA.

You should buy like 10,000 donuts and use them to buy IGC. Then EA love U long time. . . like maybe 5 minutes!

Whacking Day... I liked the event. I event enjoyed tapping the snakes. I didn't like leaving eggs as that became tedious (so many eggs, placed one by one). But overall, I enjoyed the event.
However, Whacking Day was only mentioned in one episode. In contrast, we have annual Halloween episodes, almost annual Christmas episodes, and then Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.
Given we had no Easter event last year, I can see a version of Whacking Day, but with colored eggs, this year.
Trouble is, land.
I've cleared out parks and parking lots, removed double buildings and some homes, etc. all to fit in the new buildings we keep getting. The only remaining steps are to completely redesign. I don't want that. I've done many mini redesigns already.
So if EA gives us something like a Whacking Day/Easter event, please give us more land!

I want whacking day again, it's a fun made up holiday the only difference that needs to be implemented is the ability to drop eggs like gift bags and have a smaller amount of snakes to be whacked. The prizes could be anything since it's not Christmas or Halloween.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, I missed out on it the first time around. It sounds fun at first but then the thought of it dragging on like EA normally does to us seems just awful.

we got a grass rabbit last year. I remember people thinking that would part of an Easter update and eggs were mentioned in the in-game files but that was actually for Whacking day. I remember the rabbit coming with the Wiggum house & El Chemistri update. I hope they bring an event out soon!

Well they released lvl 39 last Friday, possible today? For some sort of update???? It's possible. But my guess is Tuesday or Wednesday for the event to start (Whacking Day or whatever the Spring Event will be). The Level 39 quests were actually really short compared to most level updates (9-10 days to finish without rushing), so most people should be done early next week just in time for an event to start. Also, with Family Guy coming out next Thursday, it would make sense to release it before that. Which brings up another good point... I've seen more people talking about other mobile games recently then Tapped Out, which is EA's fault for their lack of updates and content lately. I would imagine they have something big planned for this month.

I can imagine 2 possible scenario : 1. Starting some event next week as mentioned by Chrisp530or 2. some tie in next week with starting an event the week after Or EA is surprising us.

Also, with Family Guy coming out next Thursday, it would make sense to release it before that. Thank you so much for this information! I did not know this was coming. We've all talked about this - with some saying the FG world is too small to have a Tapped Out type of game - but here it comes. I play Sponge Bob Moves In. That cartoon also has been on for a long time and has many episodes. It is a fun game except for a few items. When the game was advertised, it hinted at having the characters do tasks, like Tapped Out. Instead, all the characters do is walk around and periodically have a food bubble above their head. To get money and XP, you make buildings like in Tapped Out and then feed the characters. This also means you are constantly making various food items (these also include drinks, treats, and flowers). This isn't bad, but it is repetitive. One way out are updates. The game has had 3: Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day. But each lasted SO long, the game became boring again. For example, we are in April and the Valentine's update is still ongoing! So I hope that the FG game is more like Tapped Out and less like Moves In. Either way, I'm playing!!
