Photo Challenge: Thumb Wars
ends Sunday 03/10/2013 midnight EST
winner announced Monday 03/11/2013
No big scenes this week. This week we are ALL THUMBS. Let's see who can get the most Tapped Out characters INSIDE the fewest buildings. Proof needs to be one photo filled with all thumbs. No thumbs, no credit. Trying to keep scoring simple this week too. No leader points, and no bonuses.
EDIT: To clarify. What we are looking for here is a row of thumbs above a building (or a few buildings). We want to see how many characters you can get on indoor activities in as few buildings as possible.
POINTS
Characters
10pts = each thumbs up over a building
Buildings used
0pts = 2 buildings
-20pts = 3 buildings
-40pts = 4 buildings
-60pts = 5 buildings
-20pts = per building after 2
EXAMPLE:
15 people in building 1, 10 in building 2 = 250pts for people + 0pts for using only 2 buildings = 250pts
or 10 people in building 1, 10 in building 2 and 10 in building 3 = 300pts for people - 20 pts for using three buildings = 280pts.
EDIT: you are not crazy, scoring has changed (er, once or twice. this should be it. Hey we're learning.)

EDIT: By thumbs do you mean completed jobs? if so here it is for me 31 thumbs I think so that's 310 then 4 buildings another 10....320 points The points for buildings only count once. The objective is to get as many characters INSIDE as FEW buildings as possible. The thumbs should be above the buildings. You are welcome to resubmit. |

Ok get your pencil ready....  Up close of kwik e mart/school:  This took forever. I popped two different buildings before I was ready  In the kwik e mart: 15 people: homer, marge, Bart, Lisa, Ned, skinner, apu, moe, luigi, krusty, millhouse, Kearney, Nelson and shaunna. Snake is outside(may not count but it requires the building, your call) In the school: 7 people: Willie, mrs K, Frink, Martin, Ralph and gorgeous gramps. Duffman is outside(again, your call if its technically inside the building) In the town hall: 5 people: hank Scorpio, bumblebee man, moleman, and Fat tony. Quimby is outside(your call again) In Hibberts family practice: 3 people: comic book guy, Cleetus and Dr. Hibbert In police station: 3 people: chief wiggum, dr. Nick and Smithers Total people: 33x10(per person) = 330 Total buildings 5 minus 60 points Total score 270 (240 if Quimby, Duffman and Snake don't count) |

It's a lot like real life with that. I have a very delicate "personality". I'm quite shy and I get my feelings/ego hurt really easy. I don't like to cry in front of people so I usually excuse myself but there has been more than a few times where someone has said something that a normal person would laugh or brush off but has brought me to tears. Not now though! I'm trying my best to steal the crown from Ankarstroom. Someone has to upset the winning streak |
