Ooooh...Badgecember The holiday season is upon us Tappers. In order to spread a little holiday cheer, the PnR Committee has decided to interrupt our regularly scheduled antics to spread some holiday cheer…and hand out presents…because that’s what the holidays are for right?...presents. So there will be no contests held during the month of December, however Whodunnit and Monopoly will be going in full swing. We will finalize the voting for contests already in progress, however Forumfield, Photo Challenge, Off the Map, and SPOFA will return in January and February. Instead we have decided to run a month of participation events. Our monthly participation event will be open for submissions from December 1st until December 31st , however every Monday we will release a new badge earning opportunity for the entire community. Quick someone get the smelling salts and the fainting couch, JoeBeezy and @themeparks4life might become overwhelmed and may need a moment to collect their wits when they realize they could earn five badges in four weeks. Bookmark this thread because we will be updating it with teasers throughout the month. However since the PnR committee lives all over the world, we won’t tell you exactly when to expect the next event. How very EA of us… (A marvelous shout out to Fraggle for this lovely piece of literature that I completely stole from her and posted.)

Lovely idea! I don't consider myself a badge-hoarder, but I'm preeeetty sure I'll go around the neighbourhood tearing down Christmas lights and kicking the heads off Santa figurines in a fit of rage if I don't get all five of the badges.  |

Wait let me finish my parade!! You do know Nov ends in less than 36 hours? Ummm...I know Arizona sometimes does things a little "differently", but last time I looked days are still calculated in 24 time periods and we are on day 28 of 30 days. |

I went ahead and posted the first "hint." I assume @themeparks4life is waiting in line or brawling with old ladies and little children at some Black Friday sale. I'm sure he will start some conspiracy theories later.
When we release the events they will all have a sliding time period for completion, many will overlap.
We understand that people will be traveling for the holidays or spending time with family. We also know that the next update is sure to be riddled with problems. If it's not, badges won't matter because I will retreat to my bunker with the understanding that the world may be coming to an end.

Fraggle, everyone knows you can score better deals on a day that isn't Black Friday. Last week I scored a bunch of stuff on Amazon at insanely low prices (like 30% off). Anyways, if I had to guess I'd say the Gift a Thon will be making presents in your town
