I'm the birthday fairy next week, and I still have a doughnut, so I won't steal from anyone. But feel free to make me a pot of coffee A Bad Example, I hope you noticed that is part of your staff duties. Was that a coffee pot? I chose the wrong day to steal coffee from the staff room....

Speaking of badges and Krustys, I know it's 20 Krustys to earn the golden Krusty and join the hallowed ranks of the Springfield Friars, but I've never been too clear as to how many Krustys one must accumulate in order to earn the initial regular Krusty badge in the first place. Is it five? Please help this dim bulb out, thx.

You get the first with a single nomination. We just need the clown to sober up long enough to recognize a computer keyboard and monitor return from vacation so the badge can be awarded. The golden Krusty takes 20 nominations.

I see, the badge guide is a little confusing on this.
Excuse me while I go find that worthless wonderful clown and get my badge...

Oh, is it? Hmm. I'll go clarify things. My dyslexia kicking it in might be.... Nope. The guide doesn't really say how the badge is earned, just mentions the Springfield Friars Club. I'll work on this soon. Are there any other badge descriptions you (or anyone else) find confusing or convoluted?

But otherwise no, I think I get the rest of them.

But otherwise no, I think I get the rest of them. I think it was left intentionally vague because everyone's humor is different and humor is subjective. Krusty the Clown is kind of a slut and a drunk, so his standards are pretty low...you should see some of the stinkers that earned a laugh in the early days. Basically I give them if I actually laugh out loud when I read a post or when a "like" just doesn't fully capture the moment. But you can give them for anything you find funny. It's really that simple.

I soooooo lost lol Don't get confused. Just watch the OP. Each week we are going to release a participation event - the dates will be listed in the OP. the rest will run like anything else. Instead of running a Contest in the Contest&Games section, we'll run participations through December. So everyone who completes the participation assignment gets a badge. This thread is just for chatter and speculation.
