I'm not sure how this new identity applies to a suggestion for a new game (which is what this thread is designed to do after all). Oh wait is it a scavenger hunt for administrators? See how many flags one member can accumulate in one night? They then have to chase you all over the board to find them. The winner gets a golden demerit. Hey, that golden badges is mine. I earned it. Quick ? Is it possible to get a badge for this game preferably two but ill accept one. I originally thought a badge for a victim and one for the killer. Sorry Spiff if this is extra work. I know a few forum members like the idea.

I know a few forum members like the idea. In order to get a badge, your badge needs to be approved by the Pics & Recreation committee, so you are in the right place. Badges are pretty much only available for P&R sanctioned games. (There is one noted exception in the Springfield Rumble, so it is not impossible.) Also note that the P&R department has a maximum number of badges they will roll out each month to avoid the dreaded Badge Fatigue, so even if approved, it may not be immediate. First, you need to provide a clear plan for distribution. Is this an actual game with rules and strategy? How does this game work? How does someone "win"? Is it open to everyone? Please PM the details to the P&R committee for consideration. |

I'm thinking maybe a new game wherein people suggest new badges. If the P&R peeps like your idea we implement the new badge. If we don't like the idea then we get to take one (or more) of that person's existing badges. That is my favorite game idea ever! This is a great idea. Punish stupidity and the wasting of others time. |

A Bad Example while I am partial to the second one, I'm not sure how well it would translate to a small icon. The last one is also good, but might be more appropriate as an award given to individuals who willingly compete in World's Hottest Wings contests.

Here is my submission in hopes we could have our very own Lindsey Naegle Badge.   Lindsey Naegle BadgeI am a very big fan of Lindsey Naegle and will love to host a badge in her honor. What would this badge entail? I was thinking this badge would best symbolize her personality and characteristics. The following is a list of what I have come up with that best describes her: - Brutally honest and direct - Somebody not ashamed to voice their opinion - Somebody who delivers statements with a sophisticated and knowledgeable manner - Somebody who tends to make smart yet witty remarks in a subtle or proper way Note: This badge is not to be given to people who are brutally honest, direct or ashamed to voice their opinions in a negative way based on race, religion, sexual orientation or the like cause thats one thing that Lindsey Naegle would never do! Given those descriptions, I think it would work with the Krusty badge in which a person who sees anything that pertains to any of what I have mentioned right above would quote that person and tag Lindsey Naegle. Then, Lindsey Naegle (who the same as Krusty) will have her own username on the forums and will sign in to hand out her badge if she approves of the comments that were tagged are worthy enough to receive the Lindsey Naegle badge. Seeing as I am a big fan of Lindsey Naegle and can pretty much vouche for her personality and characters, I think I would be able to host her username on the forums to hand out badges to anyone who was tagged. Anyone who knows me would know that I am very OCD and will not hand out said badge so easily (because we know Lindsey is not an easy woman per say!) I am new to requesting a badge to be made and I hope I gave all the requirements as thoroughly as possible. Anymore information that you need feel free to tag me or quote me and I will be more than happy to provide any additional information. Many other users on the forums would love a Lindsey Naegle badge and I hope that it will be approved. Thanks! |

mitsuhoney, As part of your proposal I was wondering how you would handle blow back or complaints? From what I understand this badge would be awarded by one individual forum member based on their personal definitions of subjective categories. If this is an incorrect understanding please correct me. I imagine there would be a fair number of people who would be upset if their nomination was denied. How might this affect forum dynamics? Do other's opinions and feelings matter when it comes to awarding this badge? I'm not judging, I'm just curious. While we may not all agree on the criteria others use for Krusty awards, ultimately everyone, in theory, could or will earn a Krusty since humor is subjective.
