ORIGINAL TOPIC: Editing Posts on Mobile
I'm having trouble editing posts. I can do it on the app or on the of but not using safari. I'm usually on my phone anyway and I can't tag people or get messages to work on the app so I'd rather just use the safari. I click on the tool thing and select "edit post" but nothing happens

There should be a button next to the gear that says edit. It will let you edit your post.

I had the same problem earlier on the mobile version of the website. Like josh, I would go to Edit, but it didn't actually work for me. Full website and app seem to be fine

Oh, ok. I'm only on the full site with my iPad, so I wasn't sure.

ORIGINAL TOPIC: Double-click to Open Threads
I've only accessed the forum via Safari on my iPad and haven't used my pc or the app yet. I noticed that when I'm logged in that I need to double-click for a thread to open. When I'm logged out, I only need to tap once for them to open. Is this something that can be changed or is it just the way it is? Thanks.

I think it's just the way it is, especially when tapping the new button.

ORIGINAL TOPIC: Problems with Chrome
Have probs with this forum in Chrome recently?!? Kept getting a Proboards standard prompt about maintenance or something. Got in when I went over to Safari... Something to look into Mods! xo

As is this post. It clearly belongs in the FAQ section and not in the locker room. You trying to make the mods earn their no money today, Eno?

This version of proboards is still in testing phase and they are not rolling it out until April. They are letting forums upgrade early (which we did) so things might still be a little bit buggy.

I've had a few pop up messages today where Chrome has asked me if I want to leave the page I am on because an Ajax script was still loading or something.

As I had not heard anyone posting on this topic, I did not consider it a FREQUENTLY Asked Question. ;P Whilst your argument is logical, if you actually look at the content of the FAQ section, you will see that its title is a little misleading and is about game and forum based issues but as you have now seen fit to escalate this argument through the use of emoticons, I will see your ;P and raise you

As I do not wish to engage in an arms race, I recant any use of emoticons.

Someone always has to be the first to ask a question, and I know I check FAQ pages to see if someone else had the same question I had on issues.

I haven't tried it in chrome, but I have just started experiencing some weirdness in Safari. When I click the Next>> button, I get a pop-up asking if I really want to leave this page. Weird... I guess there must be some process running or hanging in the background. I'm sure this will keep getting better. It is already a million times better than the V4 we had running for the first couple hours! Admin, you are ACES for getting us upgraded!

I love the new version even with its quirks it's still better than v4.

It has to be IDGAFF's fault, since Admin and Spiffshine would never cause a problem for their legions of fans.

Yep same with me, I click the cog button, press edit, click done, but nothing happens
I tried just pressing edit and not clicking done, but still nothing
It seems its some kind of bug maybe with proboards themselves

You can't edit on Safari, I don't know why. I got the mobile app and can't stand it. I wasted my $3. I'd donate it to you if I could. Probably an error on ProBoards' end. I just try to double check everything before I post but on a smaller screen that's hard to do. I hope they fix it soon. Edit; Just found this in another thread. Probably explains our problems. This version of proboards is still in testing phase and they are not rolling it out until April. They are letting forums upgrade early (which we did) so things might still be a little bit buggy.
