Want the Buddhist Temple but don't have enough? Do you think that you'll never get the 50 foot magnifying glass? Need more land? Look no more, use this guide and you can afford these things! 1. Use one hour tasks: This is the key to getting money fast. It doesn't matter how many characters you have, just put them all on one hour tasks when you can. As dcline414 pointed out, make sure you'll have the time to get on. If not, you might be better off sending them on 3 or 4 hour tasks. Overnight will all depend on when you wake up. 2. Get premium characters: The premium characters and skins get you 50% more cash and XP, which is a big benefit. 3. Use premium decorations: After you get premium characters, get decorations. The 40 donut vehicles have the best value as they each get you a 2% bonus, but any of the 20+ donut ones can do you good. If you want to check your bonus, when Gulp N Blow is ready to give out the $100, count the extra money it gives you. That extra money is the percentage of your bonus. 4. Duplicate buildings when possible: When you reach Level 27, in order to keep your rating up to 5 stars, you're going to need every restaurant and 4 duplicates (more if you don't have some of the regular ones). The restaurants that can be duplicated are Krusty Burger, Gulp N Blow, and Lard Lad, and the Kwike Mart canhave duplicates. These duplicates will be a great way to earn more money. 5. Create streets: Having duplicate houses is a great way to earn more money. You can go two routes, the house farm route, or the street route. I recommend the street route since it'll look prettier. The best ones to have multiples of are the Blue houses, but any one will do you good. Again, it all depends on how much you log in. That's my guide on how to earn money fast. If there's anything I forgot, I'll add it. Hope this helps

All of the above is great. However I want to point out that it is disruptive to house farming when people tap on your blue and white houses as this resets timers. Stay away from them and tap on people's brown house farms. There timer is five minutes and resets quickly for people setting there character s on one hour tasks.
Just sayin.....

Totally agree I dont house farm but it is really annoying when you get certain houses to pay out at the times that suit you for loggin in and low n behold someone has tapped the white house which means i gotta ignore that house till the timer catches up arrrggghh!! lol Sorry, tapping on a brown house makes 0 sense. Tapping on a long term house at worst means I ignore it when tapping the others. I've seen this "don't tap my long term stuff" theory espoused over and over, it's just bunk. Tapping the brown house or Simpsons house might as well not tap anything, IMO. Really you should tap none of them and vandalize, but if you're tapping tap a long term house so it resets earlier.

I have a question. When I put them in one hour tasks, I should do this throughout the day as often as I can?

Want the Buddhist Temple but don't have enough? Do you think that you'll never get the 50 foot magnifying glass? Need more land? Look no more, use this guide and you can afford these things! 1. Use one and twelve hour tasks: This is the key to getting money fast. It doesn't matter how many characters you have, just put them all on one hour tasks during the day and 12 hour tasks overnight. You have to do your own math on this one. I sleep for 6-7 hours per night, so the characters who have 6 hour tasks get those (a premium task for Skinner, Martin, and CBG) and the others get 8 hour tasks. During the day, I typically do 1-4 hour tasks. Why? Well three 1 hour tasks pays $210 and one 4 hour task pays $175. I know that I won't get more than 3 hour long tasks into any 4 hour window, but there is a chance I won't get more than 1-2 cycles in. The 4 hour tasks (3 hour for bart) are pretty much a guarantee. I made a tool for this: The first tab will help you determine your exact multiplier. The second will show you how many XP you get per dollar for each item. Input cells are orange. Let me know if you have any questions (or find other errors in the calculations).

But IMO I don't like my routine of collecting affected....that's all I was saying! Each to their own ways that's part of the game Another helpful hint.... Want me to vandalize?? Then please try to put those buildings near the center of the initial load....that way I am not searching through seas of farm buildings trying to find one....

Timers get messed up, it's gonna happen. If your set up properly then it's not a big deal. I've got about 250 white houses and near 100 orange. No it doesn't look that pretty but I get lots of cash and donuts from leveling up. At some point I will make a town that's only for looks. Until then I'll just get cash.

Which house is the best depends on how many times a day you log in( same thought process as one hour tasks).
Recently vandalizing has appeared to hurt my righteousness rating so I have stopped doing it and have been trying to "mop" instead.

Ah that's good to hear. I thought I had some major glitch when I noticed a few of my blue houses already regenerated when I came back after 3 hours lol

I use the white house for farming, 12 hours suits my daily routine. Agree with the 40 doughnuts items though. Police cars all the way.

best house to farm cash/xp are the blue ones. I've found that Purple Houses are better than Blue ones with a 1 hour and 5 minutes connection windows from 7:30 AM until 23:30 PM In theory, with exactly 8h rotation, blues should be betters, but in real world they are not. GNB are not bad either.

I'm so glad to see this topic and it helped me quite substantially. We need more quality guides like this on the forum. Here are some suggested topics: -How to collect money from buildings? -How to send characters on tasks? -How to download Tapped Out?

I feel like this might be a sarcastic post, but I've taken the time to create these guides for you jarci1: -How to collect money from buildings? Start playing the game from the beginning, but this time try it with your eyes open. -How to send characters on tasks? Repeat instructions above. If this doesn't work, try Hooked on Phonics or just ask any 6 year old who knows how to read better than you. -How to download Tapped Out? See if the 6 year old will help. But really any 3 year old could do this for you. The ability to read helps here, but isn't really required. Let me know if you need any more help figuring out how to play TSTO!

Recently vandalizing has appeared to hurt my righteousness rating so I have stopped doing it and have been trying to "mop" instead. I started today with 5 stars. (I know no pics it did not happen, but it is true) To test the theory that it is okay to vandalize my neighbors. Well I did and it did. It dropped me down to 1 star in righteousness and took my overall ratting down to 4.5. I typically clean people's towns and then look for Other places i can tap. Now I know that this is contrary to what others do but it works for me.

I have to agree with this. Sure, I can see why some would want all of their 12 hour(for example) buildings to be ready. I used to feel the same, but since I have no control over what buildings my friends tap, I gave up on that. It gives me the chance at an additional payout and at the least I'm getting the same amount that I would have anyways. So, if you're one of my neighbors feel free to tap whatever you want.
