Downloaded update a couple of hours ago (Giles ice cream truck offer, I believe) but haven't been able to log into my towns, game crashes when I tap the pink donut. Hard closed app., Tried to delete and re install. Hard closed iPad/iPhone. No dice. Crashes and crashes and crashes.
Ah, well, I won't waste my money in melted ice cream....

Well good news for those locked out today ... on iOS I just got another auto-update, and  there's my town, and I see Gil, and I think I'm good to go.  (Yup, I fibbed before, I am addicted and didn't want to take a break, lol.) |

Oh, I've noticed that the L.A. Body Works is still showing the yoga carpet sign on it even if all the characters are sent in task.

Yeah this is happening to me as well, quite annoying Find Fat Tony and send him on the task, it is apparently a bug when EA decide to switch him for Snake. After that it will disappear. |

Does this happen to anyone else?
Its been happening so much to me lately and its really annoying and tiresome, almost makes me not want to even play the game anymore. It starts out with a random 11/11 "update" (with around 35 MB) once that is done (around 15-30 seconds) it then asks me for my age and to log back in which then goes to a 368.6 MB update that takes more than 5 minutes long and I cannot even bypass it while it updates in the background.
I have no idea why this keeps happening to me but its really making me not want to play this game anymore and I have just about had it up to here with this constant annoyances this game is coming up with lately.

This is what I mean by making currency just for the sake of making more currency. I really dislike this new aspect of the game which feels like Family Guy. And, this is what makes people lose interest. Lots of work for very minimal if any progress. |

SH sure is demanding, even to "just" reach like 50-70 mil so you can obtain most of the land and jobs. Even during events you can usually do well just stopping by briefly every 2-4 hours, but without using donuts SH seems to want you to hang around for an hour at a time. At what level does SH become available? If it's 25 or 30 or something, I imagine SH would be a very different experience for someone still scrapping for ordinary bucks to buy land and lv30 buildings etc. Does this happen to anyone else? Just delete the app and reinstall it. Something in the games files are corrupted and it could have been caused by your device and not necessarily the game. |

When switching towns (Visiting) some towns (newer - lower levels) fade in, where as the majority just load instantly.
Anyone else see this?

I never told that to anyone but when visiting someone's town on my list which seems quite abandoned (a low level since a long time) I'm welcomed each time by the gremlin's scream from a past Halloween update.

I had that with one Neighbor-eeno for a few months, then they visited the game and it stopped. Still get the Sideshow Bob has been spotted on a number of towns too. |
