SPOFA: Tree House of Horrors With the 25th Tree House of Horrors episode having just aired, we're asking you to show us your favorite Tree House of Horrors memory! Use all the TSTO decor at your disposal to create an art piece of your favorite THOH character or scene from any of the past 25 years.
Please PM your entry to PnR Submissions. Use this thread for discussion or to ask questions, but any entries posted on this thread will be deleted. All entries are due by 11:59pm (PDT) Friday, November 7, 2014. All entries will be showcased at the end of the contest, and the Pics & Rec judges will pick the top three and bring them to the forum members for the final vote. All worthy entries (ones that show some effort) will receive a David award if the artist does not already have one. Winners of the challenges will receive a beautiful Gummi Venus de Milo badge. The rarest gummi of them all, this award was carved by gummi artisans who work exclusively in the medium of gummi. We hope you will treasure it rather than eat it  |

lol awww, happy to have my gummi finally and I'll certainly take it. Would have been nice to see some other creations though. To be honest I wasn't too happy with my entry, I had a few other ideas after I threw it together and I think they would have worked better. Just hard to find the time and I'll say I'm glad I only did one seeing as I had no competition Anyways, thanks for running these things you fine folks of pics n rec. its gotten a bit quiet around here, just know I'm not going anywhere. I don't post a ton but I'm always lurking at very least  Seeing as this was the only entry... Here Ya go, templates for what I was considering doing as a second entry. A classic decapitated Burns and Ralph after playing with scissors. Both had color schemes that would work pretty well with in game decorations, coulda been cool.   |

Lol Mitzy your preaching to the choir. I made it after I made my entry and I really wanted to do it, just couldn't find the time. Also I hate hate hate stitching with the dark edges of the Haloween update. Makes it a slow go and the end product still isn't perfect as you can see with zombie bart. I may very well do it down the road. |

keys1980, your entry was top notch even without competition. That is certainly a well-deserved gummy! Your Ralph template is fantastic though… I really really really hope you do it sometime and be sure to post here for all of us slackers to ooo and aaaah over!! GREAT JOB!

Forget the cake I want it in the same form as a permanent statue. |

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!! I don’t have room in my Springfield to do these anymore I noticed your landing zone slowly closing in, then completely being filled. All I can say is NOOOOOooooooo! Clear it again, please, I love your art! And, yes, I did see your cleared Krustyland area, but it's just not the same! EDIT: Oh, and, keys1980, I've been a fan of your game art for years. If you ever have a spot free up, I'd love, love, love to finally have you as a neighbor! |
