The Yard Sale: 2014 Edition
Limited-time event from July 17 through August 4, 2014



Mayan Marge was never released in 2012, but was in the game files at the time, so technically the character skin is new.

All other items were previously free or win-able in older events and tie-ins, save for Ninja Homer with Practice Snake -- which as originally offered for 120 Donuts -- and the Mr. Sparkle Billboard.

If you have all the previously released items, you'll only be offered Mayan Marge and the Mr. Sparkle Billboard.

Re-issued from 2012:
• Mayan Calendar* with Mayan God, Mayan Homer Character Skin and
   Mayan Marge Character Skin (from Halloween 2012 event) -- 300 Donuts

• Mayan Homer Character Skin and Mayan Marge Character Skin (only offered if you just
   have the Mayan Calendar with Mayan God -- from Halloween 2012 event) -- 170 Donuts

• Cool Brown House with Cool Homer (from "The Day the Earth Stood Cool"
   episode tie-in) -- 120 Donuts

*When this was originally released you received 10 Donuts plus the Mayan Homer skin when you completed the calendar puzzle correctly. This has been removed from the re-issue.

• Wash Mayan Homer's Mayan Thong (1 hour / $105/XP=26)
• Look for a Human Sacrifice (4 hours / $260/XP=70)
• Perform an Ancient Dance with Mayan Homer (Requires Mayan Homer / 8 hours / $420/XP=105) ±
• Wait to be Sacrificed (Requires Mayan Calendar / 12 hours / $600/XP=150) ±
• Worship Gukmatz the Creator (24 hours / $1000/XP=225)

± denotes a visual task.

Are all of Mayan Marge's tasks outdoors? I had the other Mayan collectibles in a town that disappeared fairly early on, so I am definitely considering laying out the donuts, but that would seal the deal!

I'd like it if it were tied in to a Wheel of Goodies. Spend 10 donuts and spin the wheel for a prize. Mix it up so it's more fun. But more ways to get our money.

so far I have noticed two mayan marge outdoor tasks.
One is to get sacrificed
two is even together with mayan homer in where they both dancing on top of the mayan calendar

I could be mistaken but I don't remember any other outdoor task. Will check later on.

But the Mayan bundle is fully worth it, that is if you like collecting skins.

it was abit dissapoiting the mayan bundle costed 300 donuts . if it costed 200 or the better 150 i got it . i dont give 20 euro,s for buying only one thing . so i was dissapointed about the 2014 yardsale . btw i din,t got someting new in tapped out in months for my donuts . im still waiting for what EA has to plan for this year Halloween-xmas event . those 2 events where one of the best times of the year 2013 to be here on the forum and enjoying it . and see everyone talking whats new . gr.joey
