I think part of the reason the cost is so high is because it arrived later in the game. I think as we get into higher levels, buildings will cost more overall regardless of what they are.

Hmm...maybe eventually we won't need duplicate houses to keep a 5 star rating...with El Chemistri, I was finally able to keep my Gluttony at 5 Stars without duplicate Gulps or Krusty Burgers...it's kind of nice (I do have Lard Lad, though)

Just stored my Lard Lad, and my Gluttony dropped to 4.5. And I also realized I'm a complete liar. I DO have two Krusty Burgers...I guess I disguised it nicely when I redesigned. So it appears it's still not possible to have 5 star Gluttony without a duplicate (or two duplicates with no Lard Lad.) At Level 26, each Gulp'n Blow, Lard Lad, and Krusty Burger appear to be worth .5 stars towards Gluttony. Adding/removing one of them raised/lowered Gluttony by .5 stars. In theory, I don't really have a problem with multiple of the same house, I'd just like there to be more variety so we could fill out our cities without multiples. |

I have a duplicate of the kwiki mart but if i had gotten the house of evil (shop) thingy then i think i would not have need for my 2nd kwiki mart,
And yeah they update the sings of the buildings i noticed the mapple store changed from a stack of cash to a register after one of the updates following xmas

I have a theory, Wiggum takes bribes no? So, crooked policemen don't pay taxes So, technically, the house shouldn't have a dollar sign above right? Or does this only make sense in my brain?

Someone help me brainstorm here. I have some buildings stored (downs, dream house, duff). I cannot get my righteousness stars higher than 1/2. Is that the main problem? I just don't have the room to bring them out of storage.

Right now nobody's vandalizing each other because of valentine's update so the righteousness goes a little wonky because you don't have to clean any vandalism in you town. Some say that sending Snake to jail works but it didn't for me. So you can try that too.  |

I think EA realized that people would be going for the hearts, so the righteousness meter might have been disabled. The day the Valentine's Day event started, I got pushed down to one star. After that update that allowed you to visit other Springfields - regardless if they'd installed the update themselves - my righteousness meter went back to five stars (where it's been since). |

as far as i can tell, the valentines have gummed up my ability to vandalize/clean-up and my righteousness has suffered accordingly. i've tried various combinations of locking snake up, etc tasks to no avail. am just suffering thru 4.5 stars overall until they bring spray paint and mops back!!
