April 2014 Monthly Event: Springfield Follies

Many times when we visit our Springfields we see something that makes us laugh. The residents of our towns often find themselves in rather compromising positions, to say the least. Whether it's because you intentionally set them on specific tasks to create the shots, or if you just happened to be playing and came across it...when characters on task run into each other, the result is often pretty humorous. I can't tell you how many times I've opened my game and stumbled upon something like this:

So for this months challenge, we want to see what kind of funny situations your characters are getting into in your towns. You must post a screenshot of at least TWO characters on tasks engaging with one another. You can use more than two if you wish. The characters have to be on a task, and cannot just be walking around aimlessly. So posting a screenshot of two characters not on task walking into each other will not count. You also must include at least 1 of the Friend Point prizes in your screenshot. Any of the 6 prizes we've received thus far will suffice. The reason for this is to ensure that you're not using old shots, as always, we want you to do this now, and not rely on old shots you may have, no matter how great or funny they are. Finally, we ask that you write a short story of what is happening in your screen shot. How did those characters end up like that? What's going on? Be creative! You do not need to write a novel, a couple sentences or a paragraph, will do just fine.

For the TL;DR crowd:

• Take and post a screenshot of at least TWO characters ON TASK in your town engaging(touching) with one another in a humorous situation
• Include at least ONE of the Friend Point prizes in your screenshot
• Write a brief story/description of what is happening in your screenshot and how those characters ended up in that situation

Complete all of the objectives above, and you will receive this amazing Sideshow Bob badge!

She believes him when he says smoking is good for the baby. When in fact he's looking forward to the smoky flavor it will infuse.

Marge caught Booberella trying to seduce Homer with her "peanuts", making an example of her for anyone else that might be planning to go after her Homey cough.mindy.cough.

Devil Flanders in standing by, eagerly awaiting the new soul he's about to own.

(This is funny to me, but I've been called evil quite a few times.. Today lol)

From left to right:
CBG is studying the rules of the sports homer does. His sister in law isn't very interested.
Drederick only wanted to walk the dogs with arnie as he got bitten by a bumblebee.
Snyder wanted to learn power-walking but ned took him too hard.
Sanjay and grampa are posers.
Tony joins the captains tales with a little song, but something is wrong: mcallister forgot his box but he found something similar.
Kearny is dancing his jig to the halfpipes.
Chalmers should help skinner with his speculars cause this way the next house seems to be miles away.
Eddie helps quimby with the bribes.
Luanne and smithers doing some leather and latex fetish.
Nelson is laughing at an old woman wich has to do some social work because she got sued for spanking her son.
Jasper is hunting this guy who sold him the wrong medicine but apu had a good idea with his outfit.
Maude hates beautiful, young and alive girls.
Lugash likes cougars, especially when they already have kids he can work with in his gym.
Moleman is making a weird movie about smoking hot pregos.

And my short story is about confusion
Homers car as one of the prizes is parked besides the Kwik-E-Mart, Brandine and Luanne are on task and Brandine obviously doesn't like that Luanne is working on that flag, so she is firing and shouting and confused because she doesn't understand why Luanne isn't intimidated at all, she keeps cool and continuing working her stuff, at the same time Snake is robbing another Kwik-E-Mart while refilling a reindeer and being confused whom he should shoot first, Marge or Grampa Simpson, meanwhile Kirk is confused wether to get rid of the crows or get rid of Fat Tony and his violin

The Great Springfield Rider-thon

The competition is on, who can last longer before falling off, Bart riding Stampy or the Rich Texan.
Mayor Quimby is waiting for his book maker to arrive so he can place bets, unfortunately Louie as spotted the local police taking an interest in the competition so Quimby may have to wait awhile longer.

Now into its 4th hour without any falling the local news as began to take an interest in the contest while Shauna keeps everybody up to date with the riding challenge on the SpringFace page.

Nelsen is more amused by how far Mr. Burns is being dragged by the hounds.

Moe apparently has a secret obsession with... No.. not Midge. The other one. Homer. Yep apparently he's gotten all sir mix alot and has entrusted Krusty to be on the look out whilst catchin a peek.

Unfortunately, Krusty's not so bright and was standing way too close to Homer. How close? Let's just say he caught the scent of Krusty Burger blowing through his hair. So much for a lookout. Bart saw the whole thing!!

After O'Flanagan's success selling dark Irish swill on St. Patricks Day, Duff was feeling the profit loss. To regain it's loyal alcoholic fan base they instituted a new promotion that brings cold refreshing Duff straight to your mouth. Here we can see Homer taking full advantage. OH YEAH.

The Social Club has become the gathering spot in my Springfield.
After a day of fishing Bart and the Captain have gone there to tell their stories of who caught the biggest fish -- the Bouvier sisters, however, are not at all impressed. Meanwhile, Wolfcastle has gone in for a closer examination of Dolph's centerfold.  Also, it seems as though Kang has put several residents under a trance. Granpa and Agnes are fattening up birds while Jimbo tenderizes a frog for Kang's next meal. Skinner has been enlisted by Chief Wiggum to spy on the suspicious activities.

The hunger games has come to Springfield and it's lunch time. Bart and the judge have the right idea,but charlmers has no clue. The old lady is about to whip up some homer fried chicken.

The bad guys side isn't any better. Witch marge is trying to make some pumpkin soup for fruit batman but he keeps missing the pumpkin. The aliens are just plain wierd they just feed off each other. That's how they stay so thin.

Grumple Goes Bad

Looks like too many sleepless nights have turned the Grumple into a criminal. As all eyes are turned, he takes the chance to rob Skinner. Unfortunately for him, all he got were the binoculars.
