What exactly does EA have planned?

I'm going to, for whatever unknown reason, give EA the benefit of the doubt they're making a large update. It has been a significant period of time since getting level 38. Now I like the number 38, as it is my favorite, but I want more.. EA has hinted they know what we want. Are they actually compiling a ton of content? Are they meeting with the actors and FOX to create, dare I say it, new exclusive in game video clips? Is that what is creating this delay?
My hope is that yes, they are working on getting voices for silent characters. Getting new clips to play in the game (which are overdue). Adding good full time consuming content to peak the interest of those of us who click out of habit.. Kind of like watching glee, supernatural, or greys anatomy now. you don't really care anymore and they should end it but you watch for the sake of watching.
Maybe I'm wrong to get mine, and possibly yours now that your reading this, hopes up for content that would genuinely take longer to implement with the scheduling of people and legal contracts and usage rights and whatnot.. So if I am wrong, I am sorry and will do nothing, just play the game. If I happen to be right than yay and I will still do nothing and play the game. I like speculating, and like writing things when I'm bored sometimes.. Anyone have their own guesses? Maybe someone will say they simply are clueless on how to implement the monorail, or that maybe for them to give us land they need to physically buy real life land equivalent to the amount they would give us, or that they locked their keys in their new game ideas office and can't quite get in and are waiting for a locksmith who is also employed by EA. Who knows...
