Anyone else getting a giant banner for something called Tapatalk for Android on their phones?
Anyone know what it is?

I get one on iOS too. I've never tried tapatalk app, I fear losing the sweet graphism from the navigator...

I got one last night. Stupidly clicked on it but the link was no good. I would x out of it if you get it. Seems nefarious to me.

From Tapatalk:
From what I've read on the support groups, Proboards was looking into being compatible with Tapatalk. The banner ad for the application won't show on a forum unless it is compatible.
It is supposed to be a fairly decent app. I might give it a try this weekend to see how it compares to the mobile site and the Probaords dreck I wasted money on.

Ok, I installed it. On the App Store there are 3 options. Go with the free one. When you launch, it will ask for a forum, type in tstoforum.
It is much better than the Proboards App. But I prefer using safari on both the phone and iPad. That said, this has an option to do that within the app; and it doesn't use a Safari session on your device. It also makes posting images from your device incredibly easy. For those with staff functions, you can do some in the app.
For following one or two forums it might be overkill. If you belong to several forums, it will make following them easier.
Edit: I've seen people complain about the Android version on Proboards Support group, so if you have an Android, let us know how it works.

its been popping up on a few forums I visit for a while, so I thought finally I'd give it a try (I am on android and it seems to work fine). Think I prefer visiting forums via the browser, but gotta say, it makes this site bitching fast. Its always been a bit laggy on my mobile devices.
