If anybody else has managed to get this far into the forum & is wondering why they can’t sign in properly or why it’s loading really slowly.
According to the Proboards help pages, they are currently under a large scale DDoS attack pointed at the custom domain servers. Nothing can be done until the attack subsides.

Well they just said a minute ago it was back up but might go down if the attack happens again. I was able to see the site under its old address but not this custom address. However, I couldn't log in under the old address.

I've just managed to get in the last 15 minutes. Tried after work & it wouldn't load or let me sign in. Since I found this forum it's become a daily addiction, & I have to admit, not being able to get my nightly fix of you wonderful weirdos has been irksome!  Back to normal now so.....aahhhh  |

I see we have the issue addressed at the top of the forum. I'd recommend staying logged in if you were having trouble logging in from the old URL. I couldn't get on for nothing. And today is a snow day, and unless my lights go out, I plan to check in here often today. Oh and eventually check on my game. I know my priorities.  |

It appears that so long as this is an issue, the quick links are not working.
If you go to home page of forum, you can then select group you want to read/post in.

This is slightly off topic but it has raised an interesting question. How long do you leave it after getting up before you check in with the forum?
Sometimes in the morning I speak to you guys before my own family.
Last check at about 12.00 midnight, back on 6.45. Is that wrong?

This is slightly off topic but it has raised an interesting question. How long do you leave it after getting up before you check in with the forum? Sometimes in the morning I speak to you guys before my own family. Last check at about 12.00 midnight, back on 6.45. Is that wrong? No I’d say that’s perfectly normal behaviour. Wake up, collect hearts on tapped out (usually haven’t woke up enough to see the game in focus) make coffee & read the forum. |

A Bad Example remember I wrote to Spiffshine and she fwd to you? Something was going on then..I got logged off all the time. Then, I could not get on at all I the early morning, for weeks!

That is the normal Cloudflare nonsense. Proboards tried to balance inconveniencing users with security against things like DDoS attacks. I think, and have thought, they need to rethink their approach. Today is caused by a DDoS attack on Proboards. There is a message about it on the top of each page. The quick links point to tstappedout.com, when tstappedout.proboards.com is what we are defaulting to. And if I click them on my iPad, I get logged out. It is the opposite of the problem a lot of people had when the forum URL changed. |

There's no such thing as too much TSTO Forum....but with the attack & delayed access, there's definitely such a thing as too little! |

A Bad Example Yes, I read all about the DDoS at the top of the beard and also the comments from the person who administers the pro boards. There are too many idiots out there,, with too much time on their hands. Nothing better to do than attack sites. At least it is not like Target, where all that financial and personal info was stolen. You are always such a good source of knowledge. Thanks!
