Mitzy, Waylen and myself all came together and decided to do a joint art project. In the end we decided to go with the Simpson kids grown up and gone bad as a theme. It was somewhat inspired by an older piece I had done, Maggie Throws Down. So without further ado I present, Simpson Kids Bust A Cap. Link - i.imgur.com/7dMzIks.jpg

My contribution was Maggie, it seemed a fitting continuation of my original young Maggie busting a cap..

Really loved coordinating with the boys on this project. We have had lots of fun coming up with an idea and seeing it through together. Keys Maggie and Waylens Bart look frigging amazing. I'm looking forward to maybe more joint efforts in the future. Here's my contribution to the cause Lisa Link i.imgur.com/pbidRfN.png

This was a fun project and I'm glad that I was included by Mitzy and keys1980. We could have posted this a couple of days ago if I wasn't so slow. Mitzy was the brain child behind all of this. To be honest I like hers the best. Keys really helped out with finding the right designs to go with. He actually combined two pictures to make my Bart. And my contribution was splicing and photoshopping everything together.

For once I can't come up with an adjective to adequately describe that. So Wow. I'm trying to wrap my brain around the planning and execution of a project like that. May I ask how long the process took from idea to final result?

May I ask how long the process took from idea to final result? Our first message about it was on the 23rd. So 6 days from concept to product. Could have been Monday if I wasn't so slow. Mitzy and keys1980 had theirs done Sunday. I finished mine up yesterday and then went in and took all the screenshots. After that it was just a matter of splicing everything together and photoshopping the three into one picture. Each piece is 128x128, so really quiet large seeing as the entire land part of the map is around 224x224.

What a great idea guys. These look great. Great? Great?! That is what you say to your six year old when they're able to colour between the lines. Nay, these works far exceed such a pedestrian accomplishment. They arouse the senses as if it were a first kiss on the school playground. They cause you to rethink the impossible. They make me want to be a better Tapped Out player. I say thank you for setting the bar to such a dizzying height, that one is forced to believe in a higher power to even hope to reach it.

Chillax my friend. Have a beer. All the cool kids are doing it. When I see a six year old coloring inside the lines I simply ask them why they haven't made better use of the color spectrum and why it took him/her so long to complete the task. Seriously they have 64 colors, American kids start underachieving at such a young age. That Chinese kid only has 8 colors and thanks to his rigorous training he completed a masterpiece by the time he was 4.
