I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this, but thought I'd ask anyway.
We need Homer free to start Grumple tasks on the 22nd, but do we need to finish the entire Christmas story line before then? I.e. do Homer and Lisa have to finish hiding one has to get past the 50 presents?
Given that I still haven gotten anything from the wheel I would like to keep part 18 going as long as I can. Could always have Homer finish hiding but keep Lisa not hiding.
Anyone know?

Anyone know? we do not know for sure, but if you wanted to keep up the Quest 18 trick you could just store the Treehouse which in theory would not let Homer/Lisa complete their task. Now the question is if we need to have completed the 20 parts of the walkthrough before the new quests start, but I would venture to guess we do not as there are many who are not there yet
