***Ultimate Gift Card Trick. I know we have talked about sending all your characters rather than just 12 to maximize the gift card intake. But, there is a special trick for Quest Line Part18 , as that quest has Homer and Lisa hiding in Bart's Treehouse for 24 hours and the rest of your characters (except Krusty) searching for them for only 8 hours. If you can time it right you can set all your characters for 8 hours, and keep resending them for 8 hours, thus collecting all those gift cards, until you click on Homer/Lisa in Bart's Treehouse.****

I would suggest though that people keep all their characters free for parts 10 and 11, and any others that tell you to send a bunch of Springfieldians to do the task. You are able to task more than the required 12 and each additional person gives you more gift cards for that one time task. It's a great way to get more gift cards!

I am, but I keep getting distracted going through the new character/skin jobs and it's throwing off the count

Speaking of that, I can't believe Plow King doesn't have a task involving his truck in some way, that's my only complaint.

I forgot to add, it is 10 minutes, but I'm pretty sure you have to be logged on and there won't be 6 there if you don't log on for an hour, but I can't stay logged off long enough to test that

Call me stupid, but how is one supposed to complete the Face of Holidays gifts? I bought some facades last year (9 to be exact). How do I get the last one?

Once you get a coin, either from the Egg Nog Bar or a present, you'll be able to spin the wheel, and that's where you can win the lights, the snowmen, Claus Co., the Shelter, Snow Monster, and some other prizes

Anyone know if the Frink's and Volcano Xmas lights are on that wheel thingy, as well? I didn't have them last year and I'd rather not spend the donuts if I don't have to.

I assume that tapping people's Holiday Tree(s) and Egg Nog Bars when available will be a good neighbourly thing to do? Quicker for them to "re-earn" and all that

On part 20 you'll need to open 50 presents yourself. NO ELVES. You must tap them. When you get around that keep 50 presents or the max you can have ready, since there is not donut speeding

Would it be a correct assumption from this listing that the quest "Deck the Malls" to build the Springfield Mall is just a one-step quest and that no one does anything with the Mall once it's built? There's no Mall quest chain?

I read this last night, and since at the time I was on 27/50 collected, I bought a few elf houses and tried it in different intervals. The presents the elves collect do count towards the quest in part 20. I would release the elves, then not touch anything and the icon in my task bar for that quest would repeatedly have a finger pointing to it while the elves were out collecting indicating it was going up. They didn't collect much, maybe 1-3 per trip, but they definitely counted towards part 20.

Does it happen when you finish the other quests first?
I've just been having him ride the kids around on the snowmobile. Do I need to leave him free for a bit?
