Are any of the items from the wheel thing new or just items from last year? Grandpa snowman, SLH snowman, Snowball II snowman, the snow monster, Plow King, and Claus Co are all new. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

D'oh-tastrophe Inc., would it be possible to add a list of characters/tasks that earn Gift Cards (like Homer pretending to ski, Flanders snowmobiling, etc.) to this FAQ? I think that would be very helpful! On a related note, why the heck don't Santa Homer's tasks earn cards instead of money? That doesn't make any sense.

whats the item that tie in to the show on sunday. As of right now, we are not aware of any direct tie ins for this week, however spAnser has noted some extra items in the files that are non-Christmas-event related. If you head Here you read about them

The bad thing about Ned's snowmobiling task is if you are at a lower level and don't have Rod and Todd, then you can't do it at all now.

Questlines GC = Gift Cards Too Much of a Good Thing
Quest payout is 20 GC and 10 XP for each quest. The payouts listed are for the tasks.
Make Ned Buy New Throw Pillows
I just started the task today, it's 12 hours. Sorry, I botched up editing the quote to shorten it's lenght.

I think when Rod and Todd were released, those that weren't at the required level can still do Lisa's 8hr "Babysit Rod and Todd" even without Rod and Todd, so I'll be surprised if they made it the requirement as well for Flander's snowmobile task.

It is true. I have a side town that is only at like Level 25 and far behind in the quest line. I have not been able to assign Ned the snowmobiling task as it says it requires Rod and Todd. Last year he was able to do it and it was the only time you were able to see the boys since they had not yet been released

Is there a certain level you have to be at to get decorated houses? or a certain mission that has to be done first? The mission has popped up but I have no idea how to decorate/buy decorated houses.

You get them from the Holiday Wheel, so after you have collected 1 Token from the Egg Nog bar you can start spinning the wheel.

The Flanders snowmobiling task is a gyp. All 3 characters are used and we only get 35 gift cards for 10 hours. I noticed this too ... the task itself is a holdover from last year's Christmas update, and back then Rod & Todd didn't exist in the game. They were in the animation for that task, but they weren't characters (Sort of like when Marge walks Maggie). It looks like they added the characters to the task, but didn't update the gift card count. It should be 105 GC for that task with 3 characters involved. Also, for those who were here last Christmas, did you notice that every one of the character tasks from last year came back EXCEPT Marge's "Bake Holiday Treats" task. Poor Marge never stepped foot outside last December 'cause I had her baking cookies around the clock. While it doesn't pay what you expect, 10 hours snowmobiling pays more than Homer's 16 hour task.

Hey when does the Holiday Wheel pop up? 24 hours after you place the Egg Nog Bar. It's payout is 1 wheel per 24 hrs. A visitor can tap the EggNog stand and that will reset your 24 hour clock....so if they tapped it 6 hours before you logged in to use it, you will get your next one 18 hrs later instead of 24 hrs. So I spelled out TAP with an arrow to my eggnog stand on my landing screen. +1
