Shop ‘Til You Drop Well the holiday season is upon us…whether you love it, hate it, or are rather apathetic to the whole ordeal, it’s time to prepare Springfield for the impending holiday season. Create a decorated shopping district bustling with Springfield residents spending the hard earned money that explodes from their heads on a daily basis. Your scene needs to include at least five Springfield businesses. There need to be a minimum of six residents “shopping” or loitering in the area. Scenes must include a mix of commercial buildings – some can be for shopping, some can be for eating, but five restaurants are a no-no. You also need to include the Springfield “Holiday” tree – or an original holiday design if you missed last year’s Christmas update. However in true Simpsons fashion, commercialism and consumerism need to exist alongside social commentary. So your scene also needs to include some interlopers. In addition to shoppers, your scene needs to include at least one person “protesting” the commercialism of the holiday season and Maude haunting shoppers and Scrooges as the Ghost of Past, Present, and Future. For the TL:DR Crowd- Minimum five buildings (mixing retail and restaurant)
- Minimum six residents shopping or loitering
- One “Holiday” Tree (or alternative Christmas Tree design if you weren’t playing last Christmas)
- One “protestor”
- Maude “haunting” as the ghost of Christmas Present, Past and Future
Be sure to get your shopping scene set before the holidays take over your real life, because this badge disappears with 2013 on December 31st |

Krusty the Clown because that was damn fast. I can't badge you tonight since Bart isn't even loaded in the system yet. I think your custom title is wrong, if Duff Dawg produced something that fast I might believe we had slipped into an alternate universe.

Wouldn't a torn down town make things easier now u have space to throw together something I dismantled it to place something else there and all my buildings are out and a mess, so no, it's not easy to fix in my main town. I can throw something together in my second town, but it would have been so much easier to just have an existing shopping district. It would be like a free badge G0THAMGIRL, it's okay.  Some of the Springfield residents have turned out for the turning on of the lights on the tree in the small residential shopping center. Even the Squidport performers have made an appearance to entertain the shoppers. Here is my scene in the snow. Everyone is busy elsewhere so it's deserted   |

Forgive me Fraggle.  For fine dining, Springfield style, we have: Isle De Cuba, Luigi's, and Fleet-A-Pita Retail is scarce in this potion of town. Just Crazy Tex's used fleet vehicles; and Honest Joes "Torches and Explosives" conveniently located by EA's headquarters. Homer is protesting the changing of the season by dancing nearly naked with Kearney. |
