Cheating of any kind in any competition or game will not be tolerated. Cheating includes, but is not limited to: - vote tampering*
- using another person's entry as your own
- using an image that is not your own in a competition and claiming said image as your own
- copying another members entry for competition purposes
*Vote tampering includes, but is not limited to: - Asking other members to vote for you
- Asking other members to vote for any entry
- Campaigning for entries (Note: It is permissible to discuss entries in the polling or competition thread, but discussing entries outside of these threads in an attempt to sway votes is unacceptable)
- Using multiple accounts to vote in a poll
- Harassing other members in an attempt to sway their vote
- Revealing the identity of someone who submitted an entry, with or without mentioning their entry
The consequences of cheating may be the following, but will ultimately be up to PNR, and moderation if necessary, as determined on a case-by-case basis: - A temporary suspension from all competitions and/or participation events
- A permanent suspension from all competitions and/or participation events
- Disqualification from the competition being competed in
- Having the ramifications of any other applicable policy applied

While this policy has been in effect for some time, we feel it necessary to emphasize the stance of Staff and Pics & Recreation on the matter.
The Pics & Recreation and Staff work long hours to create games and contests for forum members like you. They are meant to be fun and to build community.
- When submitting artwork for a contest, understand that this is just for fun and don't take it too seriously.
- When voting on a contest, simply choose the one that you personally think is the best, whether or not it is your best friend's piece.
- Don't tell people who to vote for - you can say which entry is your favorite and why, but if you are specifically telling people what to vote for then you are crossing a line.
- Don't recruit people to register and vote. These contests are for members, not your mom (unless she happens to be a huge TSTO fan and involved in this community as well).
- Just be cool.
Cheating robs other members of the fun and goes against the spirit of competition. It's just not fair and ruins what we have worked hard to achieve. At the end of the day, these are just forum contests and should not be taken so seriously - there is no need for cheating, demanding and campaigning for votes, popularity contests or any such nonsense.
Just have fun!
