IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR ORIGIN FRIENDS ...

Hey everybody. If you are posting on one of the existing "Add Me" threads, or if you are starting your own thread, please take a close look at your post before putting it up and make sure:

1. That you actually included your Origin ID in your post. Some of us do have the same names on the forums and on Origin, but not everybody. If you don't list an ID, we might assume that your name on the forums is the same as on Origin, and we may be adding some random and incorrect person.

2. Make sure that the name you type as your Origin ID is correct. Yeah, I know this sounds obvious, but there are a few "Add Me" posts floating around out there that list Origin IDs that can't be found.

3. It might be worth double checking to see how many accounts come up when you type your own ID into the "Find Friends" search box. If there are 6 or 7 accounts with names similar to yours but with slight variations in the capitalization, or with different numbers added at the end, it is especially important that you are precise in listing YOUR account in your posts so that the right person gets added.

If you've posted in the Add Me threads and don't feel you are getting much response, double check your posts just to be sure your info is accurate.

This was good info. I'm sure more folks will be looking for friends as they realize their own are not actively playing. I have a few I'm watching. I know they only play a couple of times a week, and I'm a lenient friend. I like the new goo counter. It's a much easier way of figuring out what friends are doing.

I am not being RUDE, please understand, I am grateful for the invites I get, but I'm full. I will add as I can.

Last Halloween I had only other Springfield and hubby. WD was a nightmare. I'm not willing to add 100 friends to get prizes and then ignore them for weeks on end. It offends my sensibilities as incredibly rude. If they're on my list, they get visited until I think they've stopped playing. Probably not in the "gamer handbook", but we all play our own way. I'm giving folks till Saturday or Sunday to activate the newest event before I delete them. I don't think it would be right to penalize them for having a "real life".
