Hello forum friends,
We like to think that our little forum is a happy and safe place, and for the most part, that is true. But this being the Internet, a place where anybody can pretend to be anybody they want, and say whatever they want while hidden behind their keyboard, there is always the possibility that somebody will take things too far.
It has recently been brought to the staffs' attention that a member of the forum has been receiving harassing PMs from another community member. Since the staff is unable to view the contents of PMs, it is important that you report any personal communications that make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We take these issues, and the personal safety and well-being of our members very seriously, so we look into all reports of harassment. Prominent or well-known posters and staff members are not exempt from investigation. Know that perceived power and influence do not affect our decision when looking into concerns regarding harassment.
If another forum member makes, or has ever made you feel uncomfortable or harassed you in any way, be it from sexual advances, racist remarks, or discrimination of any kind, either in private or out in the forum, please notify a member of staff immediately, and please retain the offending message(s) and/or post(s).
