Assuming you manage to connect to see this message, please do the following: 1. Visit support.proboards.com/cdn-cgi/trace(Please disable any proxies when testing this URL.) 2. Copy/paste what comes up on the screen in a PM to me.It will look something like this: fl=27f3 h=support.proboards.com ip=123.45.6.789 ts=1379586518.877 visit_scheme=http uag=Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_5) AppleWebKit/536.30.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.5 Safari/536.30.1 colo=ATL spdy=off
If it makes you feel any better, here are some of the things PB Admin are saying... For users having connection issues, can you please visit this URL and copy/paste what comes up on the screen for us: support.proboards.com/cdn-cgi/trace(If you are using a proxy to get on support, please disable that proxy when testing this URL. If you are helping someone else with a connection issue, please send them this URL and have them send you the data back so you can post it) Thank you. Further, CloudFlare has said that they are working on routing us around their Newark data center, so hopefully things will be fixed within ~15 minutes. We have been in contact with CloudFlare regarding this issue, it appears to be limited to users in the north-east(ish) United States. We will provide updates as they are available. We have called the CloudFlare emergency line and have them looking into this. Hi, CloudFlare is aware of a problem with their Pairs location. They are working on rectifying the situation and we are monitoring the error ratio. Unfortunately there isn't too much that can be done on our end at this time while CloudFlare works on the problem. We hope that things should return to normal soon. Sorry that I'm not able to be of more help, but I know that CloudFlare is actively working on the issue.

Yesterday it kept saying that the server timed out or the site was too busy. This only happened on WIFI, I tried with three different devices and one was a PC. However, soon as I switched to cellular and turned off the WIFI? I was able to access the forum.
I think thar be too many pirates on here last night!
It was a new error message, if I get it again I will be sure to screenshot it and post it when I can get back on the forum again.
I am on it now, the problem does eventually go away. It just takes hours and I start tweaking like the forum crackhead that I've become.

A few months ago ProBoards was having some connection issues that took a week or so to iron out. I don't know if Cloudflare was the answer to all of that but if it was, they might need to seek a different solution. Your issue sounds different though. It has me scratching my head... but that's why I'm an Artist by trade and not a systems admin.

I haven't had any issues in several weeks. Pretty much since the tweaks and changes happened mid-August. Stay away bear and cloud flare, stay away.

I'm wondering if the ads aren't the problem?
I never see ads when on my iPad. However, one just tried to load and it caused me to get an error message. Once I got the forum to load? I saw an ad across the top of the page for the first time.
I think it may be slowing down the load time to the point where the browser is timing out.

Not sure why I was tagged. Until Proboards put that freaking banner on my iPad today to use their crapware I haven't had a problem in the past few weeks. Now every page loads slowly, screen jerks around, and a big chunk of reading space is gone. Fuck them. I read on my iPad. This crap tells me they don't want me to do that. I'll check back some other day to see if they changed their mind.

It stays closed during a single foruming session. Hmmm... I can send a message to ProBoards to see what's up. You might just have an iPad that is as ornery as you are.

I thought I remembered you mentioning connection issues with the forum and wanted to draw your attention to this test... is that the case?
