Has anyone else run across this? I bought a strip of land, and "Cleaned Up Springfield" where I could, but there is debris in the next, unbought parcel that falls across the land. As a result, I can't put anything over that spot...like here, I can't run the street through.

Yes it's quite annoying, there are a few plots of land that have overlapping waste if I'm not mistaken.

Holy crap- I've never seen that before! I wondered if that could happen... now I know! Sorry- that sucks!

You have to buy the other plot of land the debris is on if you want to move it, else you're stuck with it being an immovable obstacle. I think I remember this happening to me twice.

it happens and it can be quite a bother especially if you weren't planning on purchasing that piece of land but are now forced to if you want to clear the debris away

happened to me several times, including one currently. It really is annoying because you either plan around it (I changed my road to pavement because I couldn't stand the break) or buy an adjoining plot of land you didn't want to buy.

Yes just bought some more land to get round this. Really annoying as I had straight edges and was in rush to buy more just now.

I've come across that before and it bugged the hell out of me. It could be worse though. Look what happened in my neck of the woods:
