Since the v'day update is almost over and I feel the best part of it was being able to see who came to your town. How many of y'all thinks they should keep this function permanently? I think it gives you a little better relationship with your neighbors.

Great idea. It would make it a lot easier to find who's a bad neighbour, at the moment you have to trawl through Origin to see when your friends last logged in.

In earlier versions of the game, this was a feature. When someone visited your town, you'd get a push notification with their screen name and custom Homer alert "Visitors! Better put on pants..."

Right well for this update since it depends on when your neighbor collects their card you know it's safe to visit them because they came to you. On a regular basis it doesn't matter but would like to know who showed you some love.

I think this would be great too. Hopefully they keep this function going forward.

I think it gives you a little better relationship with your neighbors. Absolutely agree! Checking to see when someone logged on last really doesn't tell ME anything- I still have a number of neighbors that I visit daily who never have valentines for me to tap, and haven't been been to visit me in months... maybe ever. And yet I check when they last logged in and they've been online in the past hour or two. I've been really diligent about screening and adding new neighbors lately, and have almost completely eliminated the bums. I am SO happy with my new neighbors- I had valentines from 9 of them when I got up this morning!

Last week, I started writing down who was leaving me valentines, and used it to clean out my "friends" list... made room for some new neighbors. Strongly agree that this is a necessity for managing these relationships.

Yes I enjoyed it as well, helped me weed out all those selfish neighbors.
Hopefully they keep it for future updates.

I would like to see names added to handshakes as well because even though I play a lot I realize with timezone differences and the fact most of my friends also having very large, very active friend lists there have been times when I've been forced to hit a building because there were no Valentines left available (and I do always check when before I opt for a building, and then I seek out the things like the prison or the volcano with the longer times).
It would also let me know who keeps tapping Channel 6 and Cletus's farm so I can message them and tell them not to do that.

I like this idea. I just hope to not get bumped because I am a weekend visitor. I get up at 3am for work during the week take care of two kids and hubby in the afternoons. Not visiting at all right now though. Stupid harps.

I like this idea too, but I wish you didn't have to tap the heart again to see the name. I think most people are accepting to the fact that we all have lives and you don't have to visit every friend every day.

If they don't keep it they should add the bill board or some other way you can interact with neighbors better.

U still get the same amount and clicking the farm helps u if the crop is rotten.

Probably not that far away from an Easter theme with a similar mechanic for visiting, so it might last a bit longer.

But a great idea!

Hopefully it won't be hard to collect the clovers. You know they'll prolly use four leaf clover and they are rare to find so u prolly get one to two in any given town.

But, I have visited towns where I rarely get to find a valentine to tap so I can be a good neighbor. I agree it would be nice to find a way to notify people you were there. Those that visit often can stay and those that don't can be exited for the chance to find someone who actually likes to interact with your town. I have really good neighbors and its noce to see their names rise up into heaven when I tap.
Maybe they can have us lay easter eggs. Poop 'em out, boys! ( Cheif Wiggum voice)

I started making/getting neighborly visits during the Valentine period ... so could describe what you would consider correct protocol for what to tap on after the hearts go away? Thx Happily. The buildings available to the tapped in neighbor Springfields are things that are ready to be collected but the person hasn't picked up themselves yet. By you visiting and tapping you get a little cash and XP, and your neighbor has the icon change to a handshake and the timer for that particular item restart. Like the Gulp-N-Blow pays out every four hours so if it's ready but I'm away from my game, you visit my Springfield and tap it then it starts my four hour timer again from the time you hit it. If I come on my game three hours after you visit I can tap the Gulp-N-Blow and get the full cash payment I would have received and it's then only an hour until it pays out again. If I come on five hours after you hit it then I still see the handshake but since the restarted timer has expired I've missed my chance at a quicker next payout. That's why taps on things that have long timers like Krabappel's Apartment, Burns Manor, the prison and the volcano lair are valuable to your neighbors whereas things like the Simpson or brown house where they're unlikely to return to their game in time are next-to-worthless. Cletus's farm and Channel 6 are 100% worthless to have tapped for you because collecting the item that's ready doesn't automatically restart a timer to do the next one (i.e.: Tomacco isn't replanted on its own). From the prospective of the visitor it's all the same but for the person being visited it's better to have your neighbor ignore the Channel 6 weather report and instead tap the floating stack of cash above Krustylu Studios next door.

I like that I've been able to see who has visited, especially since more and more my neighbors are people I interact with here. But I also know that there are days when my schedule is just too tight, or I have days like today where I haven't been able to access my neighbors menus. So I don't really stress about it if people don't visit everyday. I've never had any issues actually completing holiday tasks.
