Here ye! Here ye!
We've had some recent amendments to Forumfield's rules and we would like to now publically post all rules in one place for a quick reference area. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a PM from a committee member asking for your compliance.
Entries: Multiple entries must be made in separate posts in order to reflect an accurate public opinion.
Multiple Entries per Building: You may submit up to two entries per building given that they are made consecutively in separate posts. If they are not made consecutively your first entry will be considered and you will be asked to remove your second entry.
Use of Previously Won Buildings: The use of buildings that already have a place in Forumfield, with the exception of houses, is forbidden. You may not submit the entry and suggest a replacement building, you must redesign the area yourself. Submission that do not adhere to this rule will be disqualified. For your convenience, a list of buildings currently in use will be made available shortly.
The PNR Committee reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without warning or notice.7/26/2013: As promised, here is a list of buildings that are ineligible for use in future contest designs. - Simpsons House

Frequently Asked Questions Q: This week's Forumfield has multiple buildings I can enter. Should I enter them all in one post or in separate posts? A: Please submit entries for different buildings in separate posts. People will "like" posts as they look at entries, and if two buildings have been submitted in the same post it makes it hard to tell which building people actually liked. We ask this to be fair to you.
Q: Can I use {insert building name here} in my entry, even though it is not part of the contest? A: Please refer to the list of ineligible buildings. If the building you wish to use it there, then no, you will need to provide a substitution. If the building you would like to use is not listed there, then yes, you may use it in your entry.
Q: Why do I need to provide a substitution of the building, and why do I need to choose the substitution myself? A: Forumfield is an actual town that is being built by an actual person, so the town must follow actual TSTO logic, meaning it cannot have two Post Offices, Adult Education Annexs, and so on. We ask that you provide the substitution to make things easier on the town creator, and so that the spirit of the entry that makes it your own is not lost in translation.
Q: When is the list of ineligible buildings updated? A: Before the next contest.
Q: When will I receive my Forumfield Golden Key? A: As soon as a moderator gets a chance to award the key after the official winners have been announced.
Q: When will I receive my invitation to Forumfield? A: As soon as the town creator gets a chance to send the invitation, which is usually within 24 hours of the winners being announced. If you have not received an invitation after 48 hours, please send a PM to D'oh-tastrophe Inc. to get things straightened out. It should also be noted that invitations will most likely not be sent out over the weekend, so if the winners are announced on a Friday, please wait until Tuesday before contacting D'oh-tastrophe Inc.. Q: How do the judges pick a top three?A: Magic involving hats, slips of paper and sometimes a white rabbit or a dove. (No, in all seriousness, there is a secret system in place. We don't actually do random draw.) Q: Why is there a voting phase?A: We do the voting phase to ensure that favoritism is not given to those who post early, because the trend seems to be those who post earlier get the most likes. Q: If the building I want to enter is part of an area (like an entertainment district or a movie studio), is there an advantage to entering that verses just the building decorated?A: There is no advantage to entering buildings that are part of an area verses just the building itself that is decorated. However, if the building is part of an area, please make sure all other buildings in the area are eligible for Forumfield, otherwise you may be disqualified.
