The thing is, I probably could do something similar to the first two, if I could be bothered. This is why I'm not an artist, laziness. However, C is just wow.

I don't think they even belong in the same category

While C is technically Mondrian (I guess), I don't see it as iconic as the others. Doesn't fit for me. But that's just, like, my opinion man.

I thought Mondrian art was all squares and rectangles and solid colors like the first two. That said, since it's an option, I vote for Entry C. Same logic as Solar Dragon... I could conceivably do the first two, but I probably can't do C.

I think each one is really unique and creative for different reasons.
a) Captures the feel of the challenge beautifully and has a wonderful use of materials. b) has taken a creative perspective (tricks the eye) and has forced the viewer to look at the game space differently c) Introduces us to the the lesser known works of the artist, and has a lot of good detail.

Mondrian is Cubism. Number 1 is awesome. Winner without a doubt. The 3rd one is very cool, if it were a portrait contest it would do very well. Staying true to the spirit of good ole Piet Mondrian. it has to be the first one.

[sar]Another badge?[/sar] Thanks everyone. Reading about Mondrian was interesting, since I had no idea who he was. And figuring out how to do it was fun.

Congratulations to A Bad Example, and job well done to everyone who participated in this challenge! As Fraggle said (much more eloquently than I could), each entry is creative and unique. It is a pleasure to view all of them.

Yes, congrats, A Bad Example! I'm glad you'll have another badge you don't really want. They were all very good, imo. I wish you all could've won.

And her design was freaking awesome.

Fraggle.it is a thread with my name in the subject. Of course it is Yire Material. Spiffshine, I have very large hands; and not only are my fingers appropriately sized, they are flexible.
