We've all created fences with that one space gap that can't be filled, so we hide it with a tree or adjust a building position. With recent ability to rotate fencing in all directions, we have gained the ability to overlap the fences. This works with all of the fence types; but the sections of the see through fences look a little different where they overlap. However, the chain link fence sections look pretty good if you double them up. 1) Place your fence 2) When you get to the spot where you want to overlap, rotate the fence piece 180 degrees. 3) You now have a fence that occupies an odd number of spaces. You can also overlap the fences and the Cobblestone wall.

Nice! I always felt left out because I could never overlap my fences, and all that I needed to do was rotate it. Thanks Abe

The only problem is when u do that you can't put any plants or stuff up against the fence. If you work around that then yea it works good I was doing that as well

Thanks for posting this! (By the way, this is different, but has anyone tried slightly overlapping cobblestone walls at a right angle? )

Thanks for posting this! (By the way, this is different, but has anyone tried slightly overlapping cobblestone walls at a right angle? ) Funny you should mention that. You can do it in three out of four possible overlaps. Here is a screenshot I took of a few types of overlap.
