Now, these two characters are a bit less likely than other suggested characters but I see a way it could work:
The next THOH update could include Bart and Lisa going to watch Itchy & Scratchy when some freak accident happens with the TV, causing the cartoon characters to enter Springfield. This, as some of you may realize, was kind of touched on in Treehouse of Horror IX.
After the two characters enter the real world and get over the shock of it, they carry on trying to kill each other, whilst getting used to the new physics of the new world.
Later down the quest line, a new character enters from the TV, Poochie. The characters then team up to attack Poochie, with Homer trying to defend his character.
So, thoughts about this anyone? Think this could work?
