Spoilers are broke?

I was trying to make a spoiler with custom text, like
[spoiler=participated users]
[/spoiler]

But I couldn't get it work. The thread I tried it on was here tstappedout.proboards.com/thread/3211/international-corn-day-challenge (if you quote that first post, you can see what code I used).

Is there a problem with it like the search? Or am I doing something wrong?

Mine took a bit of editing but I'm pretty sure it's working??
