Hey there Admin-y type folks.

I suddenly became very aware of my lack of badges. Naturally, I turned to the bottle.

Now, in the sober light of morning, I've searched to find some sort of guide, but can't find any. (It could be poor or lazy search skills, admittedly.)

Can you make a sticky guide to what they are, what they mean, and how to get them?

Or point me there if it already exists?

Check out PeruHomer's guide to Forum Awards under FAQ. There's also a thread on premium badges there as well.

Isn't sanity really just a one trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

Can I suggest/recommend changing that thread's title to "Guide to Awards and Badges"? I didn't associate "forum awards" with badges. Everyone refers to them as badges, so I never would've looked at that thread if not pointed to it. I even searched for badges and it didn't come up.

Also, Duff Dawg is right, I didn't even know that FAQ section was there, and I was actively looking for it. Perhaps a rename? Or maybe moving it up on the list? Dunno, but I felt like I tapped into a goldmine when I got there.

Good points there, fspj. It's funny really, they're called 'awards' on our profile page, yet we all call them 'badges'... I don't know when we made that switch permanent, but that's just how we roll I guess. 8-)
