I have been locked out my town for three days now - don't even get to the harp thingy. Mine gets stuck on the 'your other device' warning. Press 'ok' and then 'tap screen' to go to my town and within seconds the 'other device' warning pops up again. Over and over and over.
I have tried logging out/in - hard close phone - uninstalled/reinstalled app - tried it on iPhone 4 & 5, but to no avail. It is evidently down to the servers.
Does anyone have any further tips to get past the 'other device' screen?
I must assume that this has something to do with the 'harp' problem, but was just wondering if there was a specific fix for this one?

Do you play on another iDevice? Usually that screen pops up when you play with another device. It's basically asking you to sort of sync the game to the server so you can play on the other device. Usually I play on my iPad and iPhone. I'll share the steps with you. If I want to play on my iPhone after playing on my iPad. (This is just an example. It works either way.) 1. Open the game on my iPhone. The warning, the game is not saved on your other device pops up. 2. Open the game on my iPad. It will say something like your game has been successfully saved. 3. Click okay on my iPhone. The message should go away. IF you do not play on another device, you SHOULD be safe to click cancel and that will get you back in your game. I say should because I don't want to promise 100% good results with this game.  |

Oh no no, the steps only work if you play on another device. For example, if I play on my iPad and now I want to play on my iPhone, these steps would work. If you haven't been playing on another iDevice, the second 'solution' is your only hope (I think). Sometimes the game gets a bit confused and thinks that you play on another device when you haven't. It has happened to me before I started playing on 2 devices and I have successfully clicked cancel and gotten back into my town. That being said, I want to say that I don't know if there are cases of people being unsuccessful in getting back into their towns when they click cancel. |

Well I uploaded the game onto an iPhone 4 - logged in and got the same screen. Had it on both phones. Hit 'continue' to the game on the iPhone 4 and up came my town. Closed the game on the iPhone 4 and then opened the game on my iPhone5 and hit continue and WOOOHOOOO I am back!!!! So, the fix if you have used more than one device also works if you have only ever used one device. Thank you so much for your help. |

Got into my town - collected hearts etc. Now I hear harps - arghhh!

That is sad! To the op I was going to say if you tap "ok" it doesn't sign you in because it expects you to go to the other sf device first and you'll get the warning again - you have to choose the red option on the right (continue?) to proceed into the game as is.
If you have an iPhone 5 you are in good shape just turn off auto lock and leave it on the harp screen for about 20 min

Well I waited for the harp to go and finally it did!!! First thing I visited my friends - nice to see their towns again, and, mine. |
