I would like to see the decorations sorted by type so that we can locate them easier. How would you categorize them?
Tiles
Pavement, Road, River
Flora
All trees, flowers, shrubs, and hedges.
Park & Beach Items
Fountains, swingsets, lawn chair, all the beach items they will (hopefully) release over the summer.
Town Items
Parking meters, garbage cans/dumpsters, street lights, pylons, etc.
Fences & Benches
Fences and benches.
Vehicles
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Miscellaneous
Everything else!

If they swapped it up now I'd be so confused. I've sort of worked out where everything is in relation to stand out decorations (phone box, gazebo, flower planter, bench with chain, fountain etc.).
Someone on here did have a good suggestion for tablet users that involved giving that version of the app two rows of decorations to scroll through at a time due to the increased screen size. I liked that idea.

This needs to be done, its such a pain in the ass scrolling endlessly trying to look for a single item...maybe when you hit the decoration tab the menu that pops up is the one stated in the original post, where you could choose which type you want.

The system in place at the moment was all well and good when the game was new, but the more decorations they add, the more hassle it is to use the menu. If you want a cobblestone wall you have to get repetitive strain injury to reach it. I don't have any good ideas on how to improve it, and am sure EA wouldn't listen even if I did, but something needs to be done. It's only going to get worse as the game evolves.

I disagree with this. I love having to scroll through to the end just to find the new decorations, start placing them then game closes down randomly or disconnects. I then have to reload the game and scroll to the end all over again! It's so much fun!
Seriously, EA should make this happen. It is annoying and hard to find things.

This is getting stupid now...
Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, accidentally click Buy and have to then cancel, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, game crashes, reload game, scroll, scroll, scroll...

I just use the arrows. So it's more like
tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, passed it damn, tap, tap, tap, click, buy, change mind, store, open buy menu, tap, tap, tap, tap...

EA doesnt know common sense do they? I mean, who tests these games anyway before they put them out? A bunch of idiots?
Had I worked for EA, this (and many other things) would have BEEN established in the game a LONG time ago...
