This is helpful. I'm new to the whole having friends thing and wasn't sure what to do. We just recently added people so we could have a five star town.
I do have a question, does catching sideshow bob in a neighbor's town do anything for them? I know it doesn't count against my actions, but I was just wondering if I should bother tracking him down when I get the notice that he's in town.

What abot the "Cool Hipster House"? I think it pays out 2XP and $16, but I don't know the regeneration time. I'm missing lots of seasonal content and such from the list. If anyone has all the numbers for any stuff I'm missing they can sure post em and I'll add em.  The Cool Brown House is 4 hours. But I don't think tapping a building resets the timer anymore. 3 days in a row I have tapped the brown houses in one of my towns from another. And then gone into the other town. After collecting from all the brown houses, I check the time until next tax is available. Its essentially the same, although the ones I tapped as a "friend" should be much shorter. Aaaah! Lol. I'll try to test this for myself too, but I bet A Bad Example's right. I'll probably visit neighbors less frequently now. But it's totally okay with me. They have to take into consideration the people who don't like having their tapping schedule changed too (like people who want 12h buildings to pay out once in the morning, once at night). |

Hmm, I can see that when one of my buildings has been handshaked, it does still start out partway toward its next payout when I tap on it.

I have too many friends so I don't really stick by this. I just go onto their Springfield and tap the first three buildings I see.  |
