I'm crashing more than ever today, it's taken 6 manual resets to even get to the end of this thread. Unable to read any discussions because it crashes every time I move on to the next post.

I know last night the issue was someone changed the emoticon for :rofl: to a rather large animated gif. That has been fixed.

Did you see what someone did yesterday afternoon?

It was changed to the animated gif of. Bart being woken by Jason. And every thread that had it froze for me.

Sorry everyone, I was messing around with something last night testing something and deleted it without knowing that it was going to be gone for ever. Then as I was searching to replace it I just could not find anything, threw that thing in there until I could deal with it this morning.

mdfriend - The only "open" spot in the list is the snake spot. Zuzu and I went through all of the emoticons previously to add the Homer emoticons and checked to see what was used and what wasn't... IDGAFF's rofl icon is by far the most popular. He can probably send you the image again to fix it.

I previously wrote that I couldn't 'Like' posts. That's on Chrome, when I switched to Firefox, I could again. For what it's worth.

Taking away and reinstalling the plugins did not change anything on my iPad. It's still freezing on me every few minutes. I deleted some apps I rarely use to free up space, but that still has not solved the problem. I now have 2GB of free space on my iPad. I do notice that the ads are no longer at the very top of the page now. Did moving them down throw something out of whack on the proboards end?

That is the default placement for the banner ads. We used a plugin to move it up about our TSTO banner, but the plugins are turned off right now.

Speaking of freezing just now reading this thread I got a freeze but it was not as bad as yesterday got blank screens etc

hi ya
im using ipad2 latest version of software and over the last couple of weeks it is getting worse!! iit doesnt matter wether scrolling fast or slow the freezing is always there! its becoming very difficult to use this site! i mainly use safari but get the same freezing using skyfire and firefox

The crashing is worse than ever now, almost every thread freezes up, it's becoming unusable. Wouldn't surprise me if someone is hacking the forum!

Last night on my iPad the forum was asically unviewable. It would freeze about every minute and a half.

For me there's something new. After I login when it redirects me to the homepage, it says I'm not logged in. Click login again, I'm suddenly logged in.

It has become even worse today - I'm experiencing the login problems, but every thread is acting up that I go into. Even the unlocking (freezing) seems to take longer to work itself out.

I have tried it on all my devices (all running the newest iOS) -- iPad 3, iPhone 4, iPod 4th gen

If there's anything else we can do besides reporting, please let me know!

Yesterday the forum was working fine on my iPad till about 8-9 PM Eastern Time, and then it became unusable. I've been using it off a PC since last night, and I may just abandon using it on my iPad till the issue is resolved.

I'm still having major issues with this site. My only option to browse this site is to use either my iPad (3rd gen/ iOS 6.1.3 {10B329}) or my iPhone 4S (iOS 6.1.3 {10B329}). This issue is happening with both devices and only this site. While just scrolling around it will load any page (posting or not) partially then it will freeze. My safari screen becomes unresponsive to my touch. I need to hit the home button to close out of the app. I reopen safari, I get a blank page for 3 seconds and then safari crashes. Once I reopen safari it will act normal until the next freeze. There must be some process going wrong or hanging. Here is one screenshot (I managed to get one) of when it freezing on me.



Hopefully this post helps in diagnosing the issues.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I've been having these problems for days (it's terrible right now FWIW).

I was searching (coming up empty) because I also had some sticking issues on themeforest.net   So I just assumed it was me.

I wonder if there's something going on beyond just the forum plugins? Some sort of os issue? I have no idea, but I'm throwing it out there in case it helps you guys troubleshoot.
