I will be turning off some forum features again today to try and nail down the source of our lagging and crashing issues, and hopefully find the offending plugin or prove that it is all ProBoards' fault.
Some items you will find missing or changed are:
- Sidebar Menus
- Ad below the Welcome header/navigation bar
- Hide Post (moderators only)
- Awards System - yes, your shiny badges will be gone temporarily
- VPester (for non-members)
- Spoiler Tags
If you continue to experience issues, please post them here with as much detail as possible.

On a serious note I got another freeze at 8:09 am, AZ. Safari on iPad, I cleared cash after reading Spiffshine's post. Two white screens, then a 30+ second wait on 3rd try to get the editing window to reply to a PM. |

On my iPad it freezes and doesn't load about every 5 minutes or if I scroll quickly.

On my iPad it freezes and doesn't load about every 5 minutes or if I scroll quickly. Yeah, graphic intensive posts seem to load.slow. Your sig Spiffshine.is about the limit. I see hesitation when scrolling past that. There was a lot of lag on the screenshot threads I was scanning. And a major hesitation at your Dennis Leary video. I don't see any latency on youtube or when I did a google search for some images. Just here. |

It is not Safari as I called Apple this AM. I used safari last night and paid bills using it today. No problems at all. No freeze here today, but last night, Yep.
I know it will be resolved soon.

Spiffshine, I swear I was about to take the time to find my screaming guy gif when I saw this. And about people complaining that it is safari of proboards that is causing the crashing, it is most likely to be the mix of the two. I always like to use safari, and it works fine. But when I run this webpage, it is always choppy and crashes a lot. Yet when I run it on my laptop, it works fine, without the choppiness or crashing. the issue is that people are trying to run webpages with a ton of cool details on a device that wasn't necessarily built to access the internet with perfection, that's what a computer was more meant for

I'm having problems as well - seems to happen more on ipad 3 than iPhone 4 - approx 6 posts then it hangs / clicking on links takes about 1-2 min to cycle thru....
If it continues, I'm running away......I'm scared......they've found me.......they're coming......*screams*
