With Whacking Day almost at an end, I bet you're worrying about how you are going to fill that void in your life that will be created when you no longer need to tap your screen over five hundred times a day, look for some egg that has been rather tiresomely, brilliantly hidden or further abuse that hack you installed to help other players. Never fear because once again we provide you with the answer.... Forum members better hold onto their hats because there is a new competition speedily wheeling its way into town...What´s this? A new competition you say?Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you there is indeed a new competition and this time it will put your design skills to the test. There are many people here that have produced some wonderful things using only decorations within their own towns. We want to take this a stage further. Each fortnight we will be giving you a new theme on which to base a design. This theme may involve something that you have already created or it may require that you design from scratch. You enter your design by posting a screenshot on the related thread. Expert art critics, the people who make up this forum, can then vote for your design with a push of that ´like´ button. Our resident judges, who are in no way qualified to do this, will then make the final decision on who is the overall winner. What does the winner get?Hey! It´s not about the winning, it´s about the taking part. However, in addition to the eternal admiration you will no doubt receive and of course deserve, we are also throwing in this rather spiffing 'The Homer' award that would make a fine adornment to any profile. When does it all start?The first theme will be announced this coming Friday, 10th May, and you can start posting your entries for the competition straight after this announcement. The game is afoot as they say or in this case a tapped out finger! |

Ehrm...bump?  I think we need one of them there drawing pins to hold this to the front page. Creating a teaser on the same day as President Dude decides to display not just one or two screen shots but individual screen shots of his entire great town was not a good idea. |

Just like the end of an EA update, this has taken a week longer than expected. However, be prepared for the launch this coming Friday. Many thanks to Spiffshine for designing the rather fabulous award for this competition. |
