A few things about the game have changed since the end of Christmas. When we all had piles of coins left there was still grumbling about Homer "eating" our excess treats from Halloween, and there was no way to earn donuts outside of paying for them and leveling up. Now that you can trade XP for donuts they've got an argument for only letting us redeem hearts for cash.

Seems every major Holiday update will have some sort of token collecting system and if all of them yielded a donut trade, sales would go down for EA.  They don't play that.  I highly doubt any token system will yield a trade for donuts program until next Christmas if we are lucky.

Not to mention they have to be losing their asses to the few getting in to the mystery box looping glitch that's happened to us poor HARP repeated playing load in screen players.

To all that's score major from the glitch.  Awesome.  Screw EA.

yeah not sure if they will repeat the donut thing from christmas.
It would be nice if they added some special new decorations or another building, but I'm not holding my breath.
I have about 25 trees and lots of rose bushes. Everything else only a few. But I still have 2000+ hearts, so eventually I might just stock up on some of the stuff. (not so much the train or the cherub-planter)

With what they gave us to buy (not much at all) they must have guessed there would be a lot of extras. That said, if they don't offer us more for hearts in the next few days....make sure you burn them off on the 27th.

Same amount and same feeling.

We can spend them on decorations unlike in Xmas/Halloween so I'm sure Ea sees that as being good enough. Still holding out hope for a similar situation with the Santa stockings but realistically I seriously doubt it. I'm going to have a serious stock pile of rose bushes is the most likely outcome.

I have about 3,000 as well. I'll be adding to my collection of trees, bushes and ponds on the 27th and buying loads of trains for the great exchange.



But please, please, please let there be a doughnut exchange!

I'd settle for a direct heart -> SF cash, honestly.

I don't want to go through the trouble of buying all the trains and selling them. Too time consuming.

Well, now we have the heart grinder and we can convert hearts to cash, the one thing in the game I need even less than hearts. I'm just under $3M AFTER spending $150K to level up for 3 donuts.
