I've always wondered what the benefit of having level 26 neighbours is. I'm on level 26 but I like watching the lower level people's town grow and flourish which is why I set out to add them rather than a sea of blue or brown. Is there any real benefit?

I have twenty or so lower-level friends. Most of them are fairly diligent about visiting and I have no problem with them. I like watching their towns, too.
I guess it's visiting them and not having anything to tap on is the issue. For me, it is, anyway. I try to keep a Tap Schedule so I can hit everyone over the course of the day and not spend an hour sitting there cursing a crappy internet connection (or whatever).
I've found inspiration from low level friends, sometimes moreso than people with alltheland and alltheshit. I still have a long way to go in buying land, so seeing people do more with less gives me ideas.

You're both right anyways.
A few lowlevelers don't hurt and are quite reminiscant of a few months ago.
But I do pity those who were not fortunate to experience the halloween update a bit, coz that was the coolest thing ever.

In my case, being at level 26 (actually 26-plus, since I'm accumulating points beyond the original goal) doesn't mean that I have everything or have completed all the tasks/storylines. I joined at Christmas (so no great Halloween stuff) and I'm 4-5 days away from adding Ch. 6. Still, never a farm if that's what you're avoiding, and I don't know if I have the most creative Springfield but it's organized, neat and to my mind, works like a real town.

I am also looking for some new friends as I had a brush with the harp monster and lost quite a few friends. So if you would like to add me I am level 26 and have lots of premium buildings and characters.

I am a veteran lvl 26 player with most of the premium items. I have room in my neighborhood for more. I don't care what lvl you are as long as you've done something with your neighborhood - not have all your buildings crammed together. No house farmers pls.

I don't wanna highjack, I'm not a veteran and I've only been playing two months but my town is massive and I'm lvl 27. I'm an artist by trade and I feel I've made my town look very good (better than most!). I've got all the premium items available and distribute eggs evenly! Would love to hook up with more creative people
